Question for cream on the brush?

Hey all,

I am looking to get the T&H 1805 cream...
now would I put some on my palm and swish it up with the brush, get a mug and do it in there, or simply swirl the brush around in the tub it comes with?

You'll only need to barely touch the tips of the brush bristles to the cream to have enough for a very good shave. From there you can build the lather in a bowl, in the palm of your hand, or directly on your face.

I find the palm of my hand works best.

With 1805, either method should do. Or, you could just look at the creme. It's likely to lather based on a longing glance.

Ok, I need to buy some of this stuff. Not to threadjack, but using the cream like you guys do, how often do you need to replace the tub?

That is like asking how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop. I am sure someone on here has bought only one cream r soap and used it till its all gone, but they are few and far between. IMHO, if you were to use it sparingly, it should last 1 1/2 - 3 months. As always, YMMV.
