i recently purchased a schick injector. i got it for $5 at an antique store. i couldn't wait to use it so i bought some blades at cvs. i knew they wouldn't be all that great but i was eager to try my new toy. my question is. who makes a good injector blade, and where might i find them?

This is a great source for Injector (http://www.tedpella.com/dissect_html/dissect.htm#_121_4) blades.

No CVS by me so I can't check...what is the container made of, white plastic or metal? If plastic, they are probably teh same as those I bought from EMS, and they work fine for my needs. I think all the generics are the same.

I just purchased 3 paks of 20 injector blades from Ted Pella. I have been using these for quite some time now. I think they are excellent. I use them in my Schick L-1 injector. :thumbup1:

Also note, that Ted Pella requires a signature upon delivery.

EMS, has them for the same price but the shipping is a lot cheaper.

I don't know where you are located, but in the St. Louis area, Dierbergs supermarkets carry the Schick Injector blades.
