Price Thread for Safety Razors?

I have bought only one razor off eBay since my entrance into the world of DE shaving. I'd like to start building a small collection. Unfortunately, my ignorance of appropriate razor prices has made me hesitant to start buying. I don't want to overbid. I also don't want to start a thread for every razor I see on eBay. Is there any way we could have a sticky with different price ranges for the various Gillette and Schick razors? It would be a painstaking process but I believe the benefits would be immeasurable. Any thoughts?

I understand where you are coming from, but unfortunately I don't think that's possible. You have to pay what you feel it is worth IMO. My limit for example is around $20 - 30. Now I'm only looking for razors to use, not to collect so I know that's low for some, and extreamly high for others. Not saying that you're wrong, but just letting you know my opinion. Something you could check is searching the buy/sell/trade forum for pricing and that would give you an idea where to start.

This might make a decent wiki page if someone (or a group) really wished to keep it updated. Perhaps just an archive of eBay closing prices cataloged by razor style, year or condition would be a good resource.
