View Full Version : Test your morals

Reprinted from an email I just received. I figure we can all grow from this:

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

THE SITUATION:
You are in Miami, Florida. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions.

You are a photo-journalist working for a major newspaper, caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water.

THE TEST
Suddenly you see a woman in the water. She is fighting for her life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer and she looks familiar. You suddenly realize it's Hillary Clinton! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take her under forever. You have two options:

You can save the life of Hillary Clinton or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful women.

THE QUESTION:
Here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the
classic simplicity of black and white?

Color of course, you can always digitally transform it to black and white for that stunning vintage look :w00t:

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

If that situation were to happen in real life, I'm sure I wouldn't hesitate to save her. Of course to reciprocate for saving her life I would ask that she retire from politics completely and move to a remote island where I would never have to listen to her speak ever again. Bill can stay though, he's been married to her all this time, he has suffered enough.

Should we try a hypothetical that could lead to a President Huckabee? He thinks the Flintsones is real--humans and dinosaurs living together on a planet that is only 6,000 years old.

Or a President Obama, who was an obscure state senator a few years ago.

Or a President Guiliani, who thinks he's a terrorism expert because terrorists attacked the city where he reached his highest office: mayor.

Or a President Edwards, who spent a little time in the senate after making big bucks as a lawyer.

Or a President Thompson, who has the look and voice that would make a great TV president.

Don't get me wrong. I will vote against Clinton in the primary election, I don't trust her, and she wouldn't even be running without her family connection (sort of like the current guy). But can you imagine any of these people negotiating with the leaders of Russia, China, or Whateverstan? If McCain gets the Republican nomination, I might do the unthinkable.

This thread is a simple joke thread. Just for a laugh. It doesn't need to deteriorate into political rhetoric.

References to The Flintstones and Whateverstan seem serious to you, Tim?

I'd take the picture and assume that Bill is somewhere close by to save her. That seems to be his M.O. lately anyhow. As I'm thinking about this how would you know it's Hilary and not Ellen DeGeneres? As a person who has been through the eye of hurricane Andrew while I lived in FL I'd know there would be no way to tell them apart.

full vibrant color - that's the only thing that can capture the true glory of the sewage she's drowning in?

but there's nothing to worry about - one thing we've learned is that no matter what happens the vice-president is always well protected in a safe undisclosed location.

I just have my simple digital camera now. Maybe I would go with the sepia function, with one of those fun borders.

I can't tell you how much we envy you Americans for having such a remarkable presidential dynasty. No, I really mean I can't tell you.

Cheers

...This is a flood of biblical proportions....

If this is a flood of biblical proportions what do I care? She can be president of what ever's left. If there is anything left. No worries mate...
