Hey folks, new home page looks slick!

Quick question - the old home page had a quick link to a query that pulled up all the new posts since your last visit. Having a bit of trouble finding that. Will report back after a few more sips of coffee.

Edit: Duh. Well I guess I can use the "New Posts" link prominently displayed on the Forums page. Never saw that one before cause I always clicked through on the home page. Amazing how well the eyes can filter........

Dave you can also click on the Quick Links menu option and select Today's Posts. If you've been away from the forum for a bit and just want to catch up on current threads, that will narrow down the results a bit.

How about adding a 'log in' field on the front page. With the change, my browser didn't provide the expected auto-login and it's been so long since I manually entered that I couldn't remember my login and password. Most of the changes look fine, but this lack of a login field sucks, IMO.

I'll second that. Logging in from the home page was nice since I've had a problem from the beginning with the auto login. Yeah I've double checked the cookie settings and everything looks fine.

I'll add my tuppence to that. It would be nice to be able to log in from the home page.

DESIGN. I really like the clean look, I've never been a fan of fussy or busy home pages. But, I can't help feeling that this is a bit too corporate. Maybe a graphic or photo to underscore the fact that the serious business of shaving is still about luxury and fun.

Cheers

Nick,

This is exactly what was needed. Well done!

It looks like you can provide some easy links to most popular/noob visited areas, too!
