Chickpea; Legume or Pulse?

The arbiter of all knowledge has them listed as a pulse.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulse_(legume)

I use that handle just cause a few years ago when I signed up for my first web forum (SabayonLinux) I needed a handle, they call their users chickens, I thought I would use something in the diminutive to show my inferiority, and also I like Hoummus Tahina. So, basically I couldn't think of anything cool, so I just stuck with that lame handle.:tongue_sm

Associated Press - September 9, 2008 5:13 AM ET

23,000 BIG MACS

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP) - Talk about a Big Mac attack! Don Gorske says he's eaten 23,000 Big Macs in 36 years. The Wisconsin prison employee says he has every burger receipt to prove it. Gorske's Big Mac obsession began in May of 1972 when he got his first car. He's eaten a Big Mac every day since, except on the day his mother died. Gorske knows lots of people will think he's a few mental ounces short of a Quarter Pounder. But he doesn't care. He says Big Macs are the best part of his day.:lol::lol::lol::lol:

The one fact they left out was: "Linux".

Fond du Lac is the county seat for Fondu Lac County and the site of the Fonu Lac County Fairgrounds. The Fondu Lac County Fair takes place annually in late July.
Fondu Lac is also host to Walleye Weekend (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walleye_Weekend), an annual summer festival, which is centered around the Mercury Marine National Walleye Fishing Tournament (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mercury_Marine_National_Walleye_Fi shing_Tournament&action=edit&redlink=1). Walleye Weekend, usually hosted on the second weekend in June is a "Free Family Fun Festival" held in Lakeside Park on the south shore of Lake Winnebago.
Events include:
5 Mile Walleye Run
2 Mile Mini-Walleye Run
Mile Run for Children
1/4 Mile Run for Children
5 Mile Walk
3 Mile Family Walk
Family Fun land

Well, I didn't exactly do it myself. I went to the Northeast Wisconsin Linux Users Group last night and in less than 15 minutes a couple of members had me up and running.

Using the Synaptic Package Manager they searched for the firmware for the Broadcom 43xx chipset. We had to hardwire to the router to download and install the package. Then we rebooted and it almost worked. They did things so fast I couldn't keep up. They got it to ping and I think it had something to do with a wifi pushbutton on my laptop. Anyway, then we just had to remove the check from "Work Offline" in Firefox and it was working.

It's pretty easy when you have a room full of guys who know a thing or two about what they are doing. There was even a computer science professor their from my university.

So there you have it. Another reason why I moved back behind the Cheddar Curtain; I couldn't find a Linux users group in northern Michigan.

Hmm, do you have HPLIP (it's a kernel "module") installed and loaded at boot? HP is one of the few vendors out there with top-notch linux support. Also, you will need to add the printer through the "Cups" control panel. CUPS is just an acronym for the Linux printing service. You won't need all it's functionality, but it's the only way to easily set up a printer in linux. Also, check out CUPS-PDF in synaptic. It's a package that lets you add a virtual PDF printer in cups. So you can print webpages as PDF documents that then are saved on your harddrive. So you can "print" something, when you are not near a printer.:w00t:

That's just wrong, CUPS is the acronym for Common Unix Printing System!

It's been few years since I was last configuring printers (network printers, and HP ones at that, since they are the ones who suck least). You need the 'PPD' file - a fairly simple ASCII that describes in geek speak the printer capabilities. Usually the one for a 'close' model, or even not so close model would work just fine (I was often using the LJ4000 as a rather generic one).
Anyways - I am not going to pretend that I remember the nitty-gritty details, but it's as easy as sticking the file in a place in /etc where cups will find it and then creating an appropriate print queue.

Also cups-bsd is always helpful.

Huh? What did I miss? My naked white ass has been under the hood of my Ford Explorer for a week or so. It seems that Ford Engineers learned to make sparkplugs last 125,000 miles, but the tensioner for 1 of 4 (count em' FOUR!) separate timing chains that make this thing tick, are made to last roughly 30K.

To make matters worse, the fix involves taking the whole damn Engine out, then the good news is it's only about $200.00 worth of parts. Compared to 7-10 hours at (local rate) 92.00/hour, I'm happy to get up to my elbows. I got it started yesterday, but had a fuel leak, which was a bad o-ring, I discovered, after taking that damn plastic intake manifold off again. My new o-ring is due today and I'm finished, so I'm taking a break.

Funny thing, naked asses and working on cars-- yesterday after I squirted maybe 1/2 cup of gas around the garage, I opened the door to air it out. I left my greasy clothes hanging on a hook near the door, and came in to take a shower. I was wearing these sporty microfiber briefs from the local Jockey store with what they called a "sculpted pouch." Well...TMI...but it figures in. I realized I didn't have my phone with me, and since I have a long driveway and no one is ever there in the middle of the day, I sauntered out into the garage to retrieve my phone. I thought the refrigerator sounded a little funny.

Damn Prius cars! Our friend/neighbor Judy had driven her Prius up the driveway after picking up our dog just down the street. How nice! And there she was. So I stood behind my car, hit her number on the cell phone and explained that I wasn't fully dressed.

Now WHY would this woman be laughing hysterically? I just don't get it.

Nice job, Dennis, on your Linux installation. Where can I get one of these? As soon as I get this o-ring on my Fuel-Linux, and now that I Linuxed-up my valve train, I should be mobile and able to waste time on here.

As for the Czar of the cheddar Curtain-- with all that talk about Dairy Subsidies, etc...I'm thinking he's the reincarnation of the late great Senator from Wisconsin, the Hon. Senator William Proxmire.

THERE was a czar you could admire. Yes, my state has had a few crooked politicians, but (other than the Daley family) no real Czars. Wisconsin has had lots of these-- from Czars of Polka bands and accordians, to beer czars, ch:lol::lol::blush:

I am in no way mechanically inclined, but one of the first things I'm going to do after I buy my house this Spring will be to fulfill a lifelong dream. I'm planning on picking up a cheap basket case dirtbike for a few hundred bucks, getting a Clymer manual, and rebuilding it. I've got the time, but not the space so that third garage stall will be my own little sanctuary after my wife gets turned loose on the rest of the house.

And so it begins... third garage stall, AD of bigger toys, letting the wife have the house while you play in the garage. I'd be careful if I were you or she may just end up with the whole house. You should be thankful that she puts up with you at all, don't let her be thankful that you're not around.

Oh... and to bring a more positive note to Tom's whole nakedness stuff, remember my wife's rule, "No clothes in bed". It has worked great for us. Aside from the obvious, it is hard to stay mad at someone you are sleeping naked with.

Finally, I am posting this from the student union on my Linux laptop, both cordless and wireless, while eating my lunch.

Love the Linux.

WOAH there pilgrim, I was not trying to be perfectly accurate, I was just trying to get to the nitty gritty ASAP, not give Old Saw a history lesson in the minutiae of printing in *nix.

Again, setting up the printer through the CUPS GUI interface is easy. Two ways to do it 1) through the system utilities in gnome/kde or via your internet browser at http://localhost:631

And the last time I installed a printer in linux was, well, it was only LAST NIGHT, so don't act like I don't know what the hell I'm talking about just because I chose to spare Old Saw the drudgery and fastidiousness of perfect acronym explanation.

I can share ubuntu ----> vista but not vista ----> ubuntu
Both files and printing.

Nice! Hey, Burnwood...I DID cause it to rain a bit...did you get whacked with water over the weekend? Not too bad up here. Candy-asses over the Cheddar Curtain got nothing!

UPDATE...Mr. Gillette's car is back together as of 2:30, started right up and is purring nicely when asked. And I didn't even have any extra bolts or nuts lying around...what gives? About 1,000 little pieces of numbered masking tape for this wire, that hose, and it's all there.

CORY...Dirt bike? Like a 1970's Honda mini-trail 70? That sounds like something...or the old Heathkit Boonie Bike? If you need a spare lawn mower motor, I might have one. But be sure to wear a helmet!

Nice to have that job done, and it will be nice to drive it over to the Ford Dealer where these guys keep saying "You'll never get that done without..." hahahahahahahaha!!!

Oh...I think the thing that will save me is that I took out the car's PCM and put in my Commodore 64 to control the engine. This works fine, but somehow I'm getting Asteroids projected on my windshield. Does Linux have a fix for this?

One last thing (insider information)...After a long and frustrating car repair, dealing with untold stupidity (my own and behind parts counters)...I have a lot of pent up ranting to go. I think I'll take it out on some of the folks on the first few threads as it pops up under "forums." Seems to be a target-rich environment...

I believe you did.

For those that missed it...

Ask and ye shall receive. At this point in the game, my sense of chronology gets a bit hazy, but the stories are still pretty good.

A buddy of mine (whose parents were wealthy) had a Bobcat and a few acres in his yard that his dad let him turn into a mini motocross track for his Yamaha Blaster 4-wheeler. This track was awesome and the best part of all was that we weren't running the risk of getting chased by the cops or some crazed farmer with a pitchfork or shotgun.

At this point in time I was sans dirt-bike and it was really starting to wear on me. I was jonesing so bad for a bike...much like a coke-head who's looking to score. :a23: I grabbed the classifieds and frantically scoured them for my next money pit. It didn't take long to find her. A 1988 Kawasaki KX80. My very own Green Machine. I actually have two funny stories involving this bike...

I was in 11th grade and in German class with my friends at the time when our teacher announced that we were breaking up into groups and making commercials auf Deutsch. These were to be filmed on a camcorder and played in class. We decided to market der Sturzhelm, the crash helmet.

We had it all figured out and the following weekend, we brought my bike over to the track along with one of my dad's old open faced snowmobile helmets from the '70s, which we had covered in tinfoil...we had a sick sense of humor. There was one problem, though. The track was covered in mud from a recent rain storm. The show, however, must go on!

I fired up my bike, did a little pitch in German about the helmet and took off around the track slipping and sliding. I even staged a crash where I laid the bike down in a theatrical manner, then remounted and rode back up to the camera. I victoriously announced that not only had I won the race, but I was ok thanks to the new and improved helmet!

The following Monday in class our group when up to play the video. Keep in mind, I hadn't seen the footage yet because I was the one on the bike. So the videos playing and you see me going around the track and the cameras panning around...then it got interesting. As the camera was coming around, another group of friends comes into the frame clear as day. They were all huddled around trying to light cigarettes! As if that weren't bad enough because we were all underage, my friend running the camera lets out a very audible, "Oh shit!"

We got a B.

As much fun as this little green terror was, I had it for that one summer only. When I bought it, the guy told me that it just had a top-end rebuild done, but what he didn't tell me was that that translated into "this thing is held together by Yamabond (Yamaha's version of JB Weld) and is a ticking time bomb. Thanks for taking off my hands, sucker!"

We were all geared up for a great day of riding and *cough*trespassing*cough* in a local gravel/excavation pit. We spent the first few hours riding around and having a blast and then decided to go swimming at a buddies house who lived nearby. Part of getting there involved going down a 4 mile stretch of dirt road and doing it quickly because these bikes and 4-wheelers were not licensed or street legal.

I must have missed the part where you shouldn't drive a tiny little 80cc motocross bike wide open in 6th gear for extended periods of time. Common sense would tell the average person that these things are built for the tight, technical motocross tracks where you're constantly on/off the throttle, jumping, braking for turns, etc., but this is me we're talking about.

A mile down the road my engine seized up and the rear tire locked. I managed to skid to a stop ok and tried to start the bike. I noticed that the kickstarter felt crunchy on the down stroke, but I (stupidly) continued to kick it over. Eventually it locked up tight. By this time all of my friends were long gone.

20 minutes later I see a friend pulling up on his big Polaris Sportster 4-wheeler and we threw my bike on the rear rack and hauled it to his house...where we then proceeded to scheme up a way to fix my bike. Somebody suggested that the piston was just "stuck" and if we could "pop start" the bike, it should free itself. Ok...sounded good at the time.

Next thing you know, we're tying a rope to my handlebars and the hitch of the 4-wheeler. You know where this is going. With the bike in 1st gear, clutch pulled in, and me in the saddle, my buddy started to pull me down the street. When we hit 35mph I dumped the clutch and witnessed the worst metal on metal, internal engine parts abuse sound that you could possibly imagine...my bike would never be the same.

$500 later, it was back up and running, but the top end was severely damaged and still needed work. I did the only thing I could and traded it straight up for a Honda XR200.

I still miss the smell of two stroke exhaust to this day.

*not my bike, but a dead ringer for it.* Attached Images http://badgerandblade.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=12571&stc=1&d=1192996011

The best way to fsck your filesystem is to boot from a live CD. This ensures that your main filesystem isn't mounted. Then you can run sudo fsck /dev/hda1 (or wherever it is).

as to what I mean... some Live CDs will automatically mount the disk drive found on the host computer. In order to fsck that same disk, you do not want that to happen. So, issue a "mount" command (in terminal) and see if /dev/hda1 (or whatever) is mounted. If it is, you want to "sudo umount /dev/hda1" before attempting an fsck.

odd that the live cd didn't load. the bcm43xx error sounds like it didn't find a module for a broadcom chipset. this should be inconsequential to getting the cd up and running. very strange. other option would be to dl/burn/use a different live cd; doesn't need to be the latest and greatest version.

Yes, the cd issue is odd. I do have several Mint and Ubuntu live cds laying around, so I'll play around and see what will boot up.

Yeah try different media too, sometimes cheap media can cause a real headache. Make sure also to use CD or DVD "R"s NOT "RW"s as the later can really cause a lot of headaches with LiveCDs.

Many modern linux livecds will automount any linux partitions it finds on the HDD. This is for your "convenience", meaning that if you wanted to install the OS all the partitions would be automatically there and ready for use when Gparted loads up.

Check out systemrescuecd it's a linux livecd for . . . wait for it . . . system rescue.

interesting. well, everything is fixed, that's the important part. at a guess, maybe there was a power outage or some such (forced reboot or machine switched off?) that messed up the linux equiv of the FAT which the journal couldn't recover. (Inodes are basically FAT entries which point to a file location). If you keep having this prob, however, my guess would be that you're looking at a hardware issue that won't be going away. Keep an eye on things just in case; full drive crashes are never fun.

I had a problem last week that sent me to a similar console.
CTRL+D made it boot with no problem, but each reboot the error came back.
The problem was with my /etc/fstab
It was referenceing a partition that I had reformated as a hfs+ mac partition and wouldn't recognise it as such. You can get the same error by having mismatched UUIDs.
to solve it I just #'d out the offending lines in my fstab (as I couldn't mount the hfs partition anyways)

DUMB ASS LUCK, and the robustness of the linux filesystem. Are you using ext3 or something more fun like reiserfs or xfs?

Yes, I believe I am using ext3.

interesting. well, everything is fixed, that's the important part. at a guess, maybe there was a power outage or some such (forced reboot or machine switched off?) that messed up the linux equiv of the FAT which the journal couldn't recover. (Inodes are basically FAT entries which point to a file location). If you keep having this prob, however, my guess would be that you're looking at a hardware issue that won't be going away. Keep an eye on things just in case; full drive crashes are never fun.

Ugh. That would be really bad. While I could afford to have both my OS's crash in terms of not losing any unrecoverable data (yes it would still suck), to have a hardware crash would be particularly devastating as this is our primary computer right now.

Kind of ironic, really, since our desktop is serving as room decor until we can get an external HDD to back up all of our data. If the laptop were to take a poop, I think our hand would be forced.

Chances are, that is correct, since ext3 is 99% of the time the default set up these days. If you really want to know, go into terminal, issue a "mount" command (no other parameters or options) and read for yourself.

Well, I'm going to see what all the fuss is about WINE. I just downloaded it through Synaptic and am going to try my hand at getting the Netflix Instant Movie player to work in a Linux environment. I recall another member saying that he got his to work using a VM, but it's my understanding that WINE is different(?).

If anyone has any thoughts RE: WINE, I'd love to hear them!

Edit: It's post 17 from the "Which OS do you run?" thread where Midian wrote the following:

Best of all, now that Sun has released VirtualBox, a free virtual machine package included with Ubuntu, you can seamlessly run other operating systems right on top of Linux. For example, I have a WinXP virtual machine for those few apps that only run on Windows. The Netflix Movie player works perfectly on VirtualBox! Plus, with VB you can play around with any any distribution you might like to try out without fully committing. Heck, there is even a Mac virtual machine floating around on the net now too.

Any way, if you have gone back and forth in the past, maybe give Ubuntu another shot and check out VirtualBox while you are there.

I'm going to look into this VirtualBox as well. I'd love to ditch Windows all together.

Wine works great for me as far as running any windows app and is much faster and has better performance than running a virtual machine. This is because the you have to give the virtual machine virtual memory and virtual resources (taking away from your system) to do what is known as bootstrapping, that is it has to program all the way up from machine language while wine just runs apps in native language using the entire resources of your OS. has to I have a friend that swears by Vbox though.

I have used VirtualBox and found it slow (lo spec computer), but easy to set up & work with. (I used it to mess with other distros.) You will need a decent amount of RAM and a good processor to make it worth it. Check the website for specs.

Well, I will say this...I'm even more confused with WINE than I am when I try to use GIMP!

I suppose not knowing really what I'm trying to do is my biggest problem right now. I was able to browse the C: drive, which I'm assuming is on the windows side, but there aren't many files in it and the ones I do see, won't open.

run winecfg onece and it should set up some wine stuff in the applications menu for you.
Wine by itself isnt really a program you run, but an application layer type of thing that wraps your windows program into something that linux understands.

It's come a long way, even in the past year and a half. I can double click a .exe and have it install just like it would in windows.

Although because the netflix thing is a combination of explorer and media player I think that a virtual pc is a better solution than wine.

I currently use wine to play World of Warcraft on occasion, and test out software that dosn't have a linux port yet like Digsby.

I've used Virtualbox and love it. However, like any virtual machine it eats RAM/CPU and you always know you are in a walled garden. BTW, not sure that Netflicks works with only WINE. You may need to up the ante to a full virtual machine to get that working.

I have never really used WINE (I have no reason to). So can't help you there, but I do know that after GSOC (Google Summer of Code) took the project up, it improved leaps and bounds. So for many mainstream programs it will work flawlessly.

Quick question regarding that. Once all the important data is backed up, do you recommend that I use a program to wipe the hard drive or will simply installing Linux and allocating the entire HD to it be sufficient. FWIW, security isn't a concern like it might be if getting rid of the PC, etc.

I wouldn't worry about wiping the drive first. Just tell the linux installer to "use the whole drive" (or whatever the exact option is) and the installer will take care of everything (wiping the drive as it goes).

Due to marketing and the fact that there's actually 1024kb/mb a 500gb drive is actually only ~465gb, that's normal.

I haven't participated in this thread for a while, so I'm sorry you're the person I'm jumping on here...

In this case I think the problem is the computing industry. Kilo = 1000 so a kilobyte should be 1000 bytes. The fact that it's 1024 bytes never really manifested itself as a problem until we neared the gigabyte barrier, once we did it's only going to get worse. Don't get me wrong, I count binary in my sleep, but as far as counting conventions go I think we (the IT world) dropped the ball on this one.

instead of simple rsync, check out any of the following for cronjob backups:
flexbackup
rdiff-backup

They are a little easier to understand and program than rsync which is so featurefull and mutli-useful that it takes a long time to apply it to backup jobs. both flexbackup and rdiff-backup use rsync as part of their stack, so not like you miss out on the functionality.

FYI these are both CLI backup tools. Fancy (but pretty) GUI backup solutions are not so much in linux (google is making one "Flyback" or something like that) which is available as rpm.

I had just finished getting all of the pertinant data copied onto the external HDD and had plugged the drive into my laptop (sitting on my lap) to see if I could access it in both windows and Linux. Everything was working as expected, so I was ready to proceed with the Linux install on the desktop.

Of course I forgot that I had the drive plugged into the laptop and I swivelled in my chair to do something and next thing I know, the HDD comes crashing down off of the desk. :cursing:

Uh oh.

Needless to say, I'll be starting over from scratch on Thursday when I have the time again. I'll be putting in overtime at work this week, so maybe it's better that I have some time to "cool off." You can imagine how upset I was...not to mention how colorful the language used was. Ugh.

Posted today at distrowatch.com :

Those readers who missed a 64-bit edition from the ever-growing line-up of Linux Mint (http://distrowatch.com/mint) flavours have just been offered a new incentive to try this Ubuntu-based distribution. As announced over the weekend, a release candidate for the project's first ever x86_64 edition is now available for download and testing (http://www.linuxmint.com/blog/?p=310): "Linux Mint is proud to announce its very first 64-bit release: Elyssa x86_64 RC1. The purpose of the x86_64 edition is to offer the same desktop features as the main edition but in a 64-bit environment. We received a lot of requests to support the x86_64 architecture and we've managed to come up with an edition which is almost 100% on par with our main desktop. As a release candidate, this release is targeted at developers and beta testers who want to help Linux Mint find and correct bugs before the stable release. Please do not use this release as your main desktop." Interested beta testers can download (http://www.linuxmint.com/mirrors.php?id=30) this release candidate from here: LinuxMint-5-x64-RC1.iso (http://ftp.cc.uoc.gr/mirrors/linux/linuxmint/testing/LinuxMint-5-x64-RC1.iso) (682MB, MD5 (http://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/linuxmint/testing/md5sum.txt)).

Mint uses Ubuntu as it's core ... in fact, I've read it being described as essentially Ubuntu + proprietary codexes (codeces?) + different color scheme/artwork. I don't know off the top of my head which version of Mint is based on which version of Ubuntu. Cory (lynchmeister) might be able to chime in here with more info since he uses both.

Also a stab in the dark, but I think Mint 4.0 (which I'm currently running) is based on Ubuntu 7.10 (which I've ran prior to Mint) and Mint 5.0 (which I hope to run soon) is based on Ubuntu 8.10 (which I will be installing hopefully this Thursday).

Whew! That was confusing.

Tour Buses from the North:

I'm not sure the threat is completely from the North...I saw (yesterday) a big white bus in IL being loaded with gray-haired folks, walkers, canes and all, in a parking lot, about to head north over the border to Ho-Chunk Casino.

Cory...if you want to control the state, the cheese, the beer and the state of the beer and cheese, you'll have to find a way to control the casinos. Take the money, fine...but you need to keep those AARP folks out of the loop.

That's MY opinion.

I went to Iowa this weekend to see my son and the daughter of SWMBO...along with this, came another visitor, another student, tagging along, who was from Marshfield, WI.

We had a pleasant chat, this young girl and I, about the Cheddar Curtain, the need for it, and the almost perfect dividing line Route 10 cuts across the state from the southern, more industrial part of the state, to the "North Woods" part of it.

Finally, I told her about Cory's Czarness, and this seemed to baffle her a little bit. I changed the subject to the Packers and the Brewers and she seemed to understand it somewhat...went from this demure violinist to "Oh, YAHHH...dose Packers never should have let dat Brett Fahvre go...oh, nooooo...and it don't look like dem Brewers are gonna do it nohow, doncha know."

It was refreshing.

Then she switched back to demure mode:

If I may slide back into the Linux speak for a moment, I was just poking around and opened the Grub boot loader file to see what it was all about. One of my pet peeves with Grub is that if you don't choose your OS in 10 seconds, it defaults to Linux (not a bad thing, but a pain in the ass if you're impatient and need Windows for Netflix...).

Long story short, I found the code for the countdown and, this being Linux, decided to add a few or 20 seconds. When I went to save the file, though, no go. Do I need to log in as Linux God Root or can I go to the terminal and do something like...

HIM: "I'm so sorry it's come to this."

HER: "I LOVE YOU, but I can't know who we are until I know who I am."

HIM: "I don't understand...but I want to. Tell me about it."

HER: "Why is it always about you?":lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: Why can't you tell ME about you?"

Ugh...I was hoping I could at least make it till bedtime before the ritual pillow talk [with my wife].

Nah, not yet. The better half, despite wanting Linux on the computers, isn't too fond of it infringing on "our" time.

We both have tomorrow off, so you can write Thursday off as "our" time.

I was glancing at this post from the side while eating my lunch and mistakenly saw the word Linux as a different word with X at the end and had to do a double take. I almost spit my iced tea out.

Hey. If you can't rely on your running mate to watch your back, well...then you're just two guys full of hopes, dreams, and empty campaign promises...:whistling:

As long as you're not going to be playing with the computer, how about firing up that Hamborger Veermaster? I'm eager to see what your thoughts are on it.

Yeah, well, I have to plan for the eventuallity possibility that you suffer a "tragic accident" and die in office and I have to take over.

As for empty campaign promises... when did we start promising anything??

I've got that slated for Friday. [Translation: My wife won't be home, so I can do whatever I want...as long as the dishes and laundry get done.] I'd like to fire it up tomorrow, or better yet tonight, but she's still not to crazy about this whole pipe thing, so I'm treading lightly.

:tongue_sm

How about Chunky?

I think the new sign would attract folks from as far away as Monroe.

With this platform, we can't lose!!!

...one minor detail, though. The Grater Cheddar Area National Convention, or GCAN, is slated to be held at Ho-Chunk...I've already sent the info off to the printers. Guess who's gonna be handwriting Bloz Chunks on 3000 pamplets?

If you change the name to Chunky, you can just wrap the pamphlets around the chocolate bars.

But just think of all those chocolate craving voters in Wisconsin. Deliver chocolate up front and you won't have to promise anything later.
