I am afraid that I have been jumping on to the Homemade soap bandwagon:rolleyes: I have made enquiries about obtaining some Vetiver soap, and have been told it is possible. My problem is deciding on the composition of the fragrance. My only experience of the scent is Salters Cream which I like. Would appreciate some advice from the Vetiver experts......do I just request the Vetiver EO....or do I need to have something else added to give the scent more depth?

Brian, vetiver by itself is a very smokey scent. Perfumers add other scents to tone down the smokey scent. A good example of an almost pure vetiver scent is Salter Vetiver. My son describes it as a smoked bacon scent. I think vanilla works well with vetiver.
