Good shave for New Years...

Well, I am taking the fiancee out for dinner later tonight and decided to get all cleaned up for it.

Long hot shower with Mama Bear's Peppermint shampoo and Men-U face wash started it off.

Then I went to the sink and whipped up some Truefitt & Hill 1805 shave cream into a beautiful lather with my C&E Best. Dragged the Merkur HD with Crystal blade across my face. Twice wtg, once xtg and once atg and got a super smooth shave.

Followed it up with a little Pinaud talc in a few spots and a splash of Old spice aftershave and a quick swipe of the Old Spice original deoderant (I forgot the unscented at work and I can't be sweatin' the sweat, not tonight!) which I didn;t think would be horrible next to my cologne selection if it shows up at all.

As soon as I get the ol' suit and tie on I am going to dab some Truefitt & Hill Spanish Leather on my neck and make her swoon! :w00t: LOL!

I prepped for the New Year with the following:

Anthony's Face Scrub and Kiehl's Facial Fuel face wash

Proraso Pre/Post, followed by l'Occitane Cade Soap and an IP in an Aristocrat

Topped off a BBS with a little Floris Santal ASB.

Amusingly, my preferred scent is Floris JF, and when my wife smelled the Santal, she asked if I had hugged some guy and his cologne rubbed off on me. :eek:
