I was in the hospital getting some minor surgery today and while I was getting ready for surgery they had a medical cart with some supplies on it, bandages, dressings, I.V. stuff and they had a couple of black plastic DE safety razors. They had a safety guard around the blade edges, but it looked like a disposable one or two piece safety razor. I asked the nurse where they get them from, but she didn't know. But they looked cool.

Search the forum. There was recently a discussion of these with source websites.

Hmm. Most places have stopped shaving surgical sites and just clip hair around the surgical site because of the possibility of infection. I'm surprised they still have razors around. Maybe you can get a good deal in a bulk buy.

on www.alibaba.com, there's a French manufacturer of disposable DE razors for surgury. You can buy like 20,000 razors at a time.

BTW, you can buy 500,000 Feather blades on there.

not a bad price either for blades...if you buy 750000, they're only 3 thousandths of a cent each

....anyone want to buy 749900 feather blades? :)
