This razor is being offered on Ebay as a pre-1910 Gillette model. I don't think it is that old.... Am I wrong?

Looks like a Tech to me, which, according to Krumholtz' book, was test marketed in 1938 and offered nationally during the 1939 World Series.

NO! This razor is NEVER a pre 1910 modell. It is an ordinary ball-pointed tech. Gillette did not make closed combs until the 1930`s. This razor cannot be older than about 60 +/- 5 years. As they were produced until the 1970`s, I think it can even be just about 30 years old.
The seller who offers this has either no idea about this razor or quite bad intentions.
