hello all. i bought a razor off of ebay, manufactured by a company called HMC Cutlery in New Bedford, MA, partially out of local interest (i'm in the boston area) and partially because it was about a 7/8ths and the seller hadn't added that factoid to the description, meaning i picked u pa cheap shave. has anyone heard of the manufacturer? research online was not very fruitful.

Welcome to B&B Emile. Not sure about the company but if you could post a picture of the razor someone may be able to give some insight into its quality, etc. and maybe give them some more clues to go on. In the meanwhile I'll see what I can find out.

here's the auction i found the straight in this auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200173355208), and i'll post a photo later. i honed the .7mm ish nick out and its shaving well.
