My bride of many years likes Old Spice. Is there a shaving cream that has a scent like the original classic Old Spice?
Perhaps Old Spice Lather Cream would fit the bill.http://theshaveden.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=2

Of course!! I did not find such on the Old Spice site earlier today -- just their foams and gels. Thank you for the reply and this link. The collective knowledge of the members of this forum is nice to be able to tap in to.

Nice to know about that. Anyone shave with this? I for one enjoy Old Spice and would love to shave with this and follow up with the AS and cologne.

I do use the Old Spice in a tube and follow it up with aftershave and the cologne. It's for a nice Saturday afternoon.

Tryphon makes a soap called "American Spices" that is a match for the Old Spice and i beleive Mama Bear has a very nice soap and Saint Charles Shave makes a good soap for the Old Spice scent adventure.

I know you asked for a cream, but to add to the soap pile on, Honeybee Spa makes an old spice soap. Smells really good. Not sure how accurate, since I don't actually really know what old spice smells like.

Honeybee Spa's soap is an awesome clone. I just used the soap with the original splash today.:thumbup1:

Thank you Mike. The Shave Den even had the discontinued Old Spice Aftershave Lotion which I have been unable to find for several years (it has been discontinued in the U.S.). I hope the Old Spice cream is good. If so, I may be close to shaving nirvana. Old Spice product line one day, then the Musgo product line the next. Hot damn!!

I was going to mention this as well. Not a cream, but about as close as you can get at the moment. Sue's soaps are top notch!

I used HBS Old Spice this morning for the first time. I'm not a regular OS user, but it seemed to match up pretty well w/the OS scent that I remember from my Dad. It did sting/burn slightly when first applied to my face (Fragrance oil scented products have a 50/50 chance of affecting me), but went away quickly and the shave was top notch.
I used a little bit of barc shaving cream for a great superlather.

I used Old Spice this morning for the first time. It exploded almost immediatley into a wonderful lather in the mug. OS is actually one of the best lathering creams I have ever used. It was a very thick and slick lather. The Old Spice scent was very light and not as strong as I anticipated. The two main ingredients are glycerin and boric acid. To me, this cream caused a slight burning sensation on my face. It was almost like the cream was laced with jalapeno juice. Can't say whether it moisturized or not because I was thinking of the burn.
Two overriding thoughts to me with this cream: (1) very thick, luxurious lather; (2) burn. I can't really decide whether I dislike the burn enough to not use the cream. I am not sure I like the burn of jalapeno peppers when I eat Mexican food, but they sure do taste good. Almost the same feel with this cream. The luxurious lather overcame the burn.
