OK, in anticipation of the new series of LOST, what would you bring to a desert island. Yes, magically everything will replenish itself and you have all other essentials. So let's not get too technical or logistical about worrying about sea air rust corrosion on those carbon steel pieces! I'd chose one product of each type from the following:
(NB: alternate favourites or hard choices in brackets)
> Thiers-Issard 5/8 Swan design;
> Long, broad strop (nb i dont have any such item yet, am using a 4 sided paddle); GEM barber's hone
> Trumpers Limes (or 'GFT' SC - i'd be happy with either!);
> Omega Travel Badger;
> Truefitt and Hill C.A.R. hair cream (alternate favourites include Korres Bamboo Styling Creme; American Crew Forming Cream);
> Molton Brown 'The Bar' for bodywash (alternately MB Sea Moss or Blissful Templetree bath/shower gels);
> Proraso P&P;
> Versace Green Jeans EDT (alternates: MB Black Pepper Cologne; Trumpers Sandalwood; Trumpers GFT).
