I dont know about you guys but when it comes to my car im no different in how picky I am about what products I use. I ran a mobile detail buisness at one time where I did nothing but high end cars (local celebrities and what not). I have since went back to my old line of work and have a ton of supplies that I no longer need nor can use in a lifetime. If any of you are interested in high end detail poducts let me know. I can also put together a specific regimen for you vehicle finish.

Sean, I am also a member. If I am not mistaken you posted some awesome details. I was on the forum under andriver.
I also am very particular about my vehicle's appearance. My product of choice for detailing are Einzett products.

This is a very vauge list but its to hot in the garage to line all this up and do a head count. I have plenty of 1z polishes (all 3 varieties) along with there glanz wax. Couple bottles of zaino, pleny of sonus winsheild cleaner and shampoo and tons of 1z quick detailer and tons and tons and tons of microfiber towels for every occasion. I also have a shampoo machine and a preety nifty vacum cleaner http://www.autopia-carcare.com/mvc-vnb-83ba.html Im sure theres more but ask away if interested in anything. Oh yeah.....clear kote products as well as poorboys products

Gents, 1Z (Einzett) products are premium German polish and waxes. I use them exclusively on my SUV, my wife's sports car and my son's jeep. Easy to use and better products than meguires and the other auto store polishes. They are the Trumpers equivalent of waxes and polishes.
I am also familiar with Poorboys and Clear Kote. Great products.
BTW, Sean do you have any clearkote quick shine available? Great detailer spray.

If you've tried both, how does the 1z compare to Zaino? I put a good 7 or 8 coats of Zaino on my car during its first 12 months when I had time for detailing it. Since then, schools been taking up all my time and I havent had time to do anything.
I'm not kidding though, when my I wash my car (its a sad how infrequent it is nowadays, just no time), it looks BRAND NEW. The paint is still uncanny. All it needs is a wash to revive that mirror finish. This is 3 years later. I havent felt the need to treat, wax, bar, etc. All it needs is a wash. Love that Zaino stuff.

Honestly I use zaino to protect my wheels................Zaino is good stuff but there is better.

I used Zaino years ago. Nothing really compares to Zaino. Nevertheless, I like 1Z because I find it easier to apply without all the different steps that Zaino requires.
I detail my Jeep about twice a year and love using it with a porter cable polisher. I find the longevity of Glanz wax to last 6 months on my Jeep.
Give it a try if you get a chance.

I love the porter cable......................Ive wondered away from glanz and found myself using the poorboys ex or ex-p (irritating stuff). How do you apply glanz wax?

I apply Glanz very thin with a viking foam applicator. Let it dry about 30 minutes and then wipe off with a microfiber cloth. No residue and fuss.

I personally used a sonus mf applicator............u should try spritzing it on..........more even application.

Its 3 years old and I'm starting to see things wrong with it.. like how the new Civic Si has the same engine. My car became a Civic all of a sudden. It was a lot of fun when I took it to AutoX and track days though. Didn't have to worry too much about killing myself or breaking the bank if I had serious damage.
A couple months ago I was considering trading it in, but I think I'm gonna hold on to it for a while and afford something really fun. Or, maybe I should place a bid on this puppy (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-Benz-SLR-McLaren-2005-Mercedes-Benz-SLR-McLaren-Celebrity-Owned_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6315QQitemZ457216 6563QQrdZ1).

If you want something fun buy a Mitsu. EVO...............I have one of these and all I can say is wow. I almost bought a porsch but why pay the price when my car is less than half the price and I still whip up on them. Yeah a porsch looks nice but this aint so bad either. The pic is how my car once looked but im changing the look now.

I've driven several Evos and they are indeed a thrill to drive. (You use that as a street car, or track only?)
If I had all the time in the world, and a decent wad of cash, I'd seriously get into Rallying... Thats the stuff I dream of.
See what the EvoX is supposed to look like?

Better is very subjective. If you ask me there's NONE better than Zaino. The longevity, easy maintenance and a HOST of other benefits to using zaino definately outweigh any negatives.
