Gentlemen,
Perhaps some time today, take a moment to think of those who are suffering from the terrible tempest that struck the US Gulf Coast. If you pray, or perhaps just a moment of silent retrospect, remember those whose lives have been taken so cruelly.

I have sat down and prayed quite a few times for those that have suffered so dearly. I have freinds in picayune MS. where I once lived that I can not get ahold of as well as freinds in slidell louisiana and biloxi ms. that lived right on the beach.

My prayers go out to all those affected, except for those who decided to use the tragedy as justification to storm into the local walmart and clear out the DVD players and jewelry. Food and ice I understand, but it really disgusts me about looting everything else.

Just devasted thinking about what those poor folks are dealing with. They will remain in my prayers for some time...

Thoughts and prayers are great, but don't forget you can make a donation. I have just made one at United Way Katrina Response Fund (https://volunteer.united-e-way.org/hurricane-katrina/donate/). You can donate there or the Red Cross or the fund of your choice.

Another good site for submitting a donation is Samaritan's Purse (http://www.samaritanspurse.org/MP_Article.asp?ArticleID=42)

Take care,

A ton of links for finding your charity of choice for donations (links attached below) Admittedly, I'm not sure that the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals plans to do with donations.. but who am I to judge...
