Razor Storage

I am seeking some help. Since I have gotten into DE shaving, I have acquired a bit of a razor collection (12 razors).....very, very small compared to some of you, but enough that I am running out of room in my coffee mug I'm keeping some of them in now.

I had seen a nice holder which held 4 razors in one of Mantic59's videos...I asked Mark and he said that it was a toothbrush holder from Wal-mart. (Thanks again, Mark):thumbup1:

I went to Walmart and the guy said they didn't carry them anymore.

So....I would like to get something which would be made of chrome or stainless steel and not be expensive....any ideas on where to find something like this:blink:

You might try doing a few internet searches for "toothbrush holder" or some such thing. This is kind of one of those things that you see everywhere until you begin looking for them.

I got a great idea from another B&B member. Go to Wal-Mart in the fishing section and buy their largest size clear plastic lure box (I think Renegade is the manufacturer?), it's only $3-4. Remove some of the plastic dividers and you'll have a great box that holds 12 razors, even the long handled variety. It works great...

Target carries a model of toothbrush holder (along with other matching sink accountrements) that looks very classic barbershop - chrome & glass. I am always sort of shocked by how much these little things cost, but they might be your best bet for those razors you really want out on the countertop.

I got a test tube rack from ebay that fits 6, even eventually got a compliment from SWMBO!
