Hey Adminny-type people

I was going to buy some Christmas stuff off Amazon, when I remembered the sponsored links section here. I've personally done Amazon affiliate stuff for a couple projects I've been involved in, so I know how trivial it is (or was a couple years ago) to get yourself into the system there. I think they give you commissions of whatever sales you drive to them regardless of what the referring site is focused on -- be they shaving, cigar, or shrubbery-related. So, I was kind of surprised B&B didn't have an Amazon sponsored link button when I went to check. It's a small thing, but I and others shop there enough and someone I like ought to get a referral commission from it!

Pat that I think that is a great idea why should every one else get money plenty of us guys here use amazon to buy things great way for B&B to make a couple of bucks to help with the server bills

then maybe they can stop asking us contributers for money :001_tt2:

Its a nice thought but once you start doing it with one site "A" then why not with site "B". Things would get really commercial fast. I would rather have us members taking care of what we have here and contribute in whatever way possible.

Well there can be a certain page that would just have the amazon link and when ever a member knows they are going to be buying some thing using that site they can just click that link and go and make their purchase and B&B would get their commission whether it be $1 or $10 just a way for the site to make a couple of bucks we members would still contribute if we want .

figure if B&B starts making a couple of extra bucks how much better things can get .
