From Vintage Blades:
- Small Stubby... can't wait to try it, see what all the fuss is about ;)
- Witch Hazel - Lemongrass
- Witch Hazel - Rose
- Free Samples <:o)
I wasn't too much surprised by the great service. After all, many people had prepared me for this. However, I was astonished by the sense of style that Jim has. Nobody had warned me about this. The hand written thank you card and the cool little sticker on the brush box pleased me greatly.

I renewed my wireless contract and got a huge steal - a Blackberry 8300 Curve refurbished for $29 when the MSRP is $350 or so. :001_tt1:
The phone is bright, shiny and works like a champ so far! The previous owner apparently babied the casing since there are no scratches or marks on the outside of the unit.

Just got the Blackberry 8830 World Edition smartphone for $99. With the "new every two" plan I received $100 off in edition to a $100 rebate. Not a bad deal. This smartphone can do everything (except take pics  ) Now... how do I turn it on?

Just received the Arlington shave cream from Mark (valdez) and the Floid Blue from Mark at superlather.com. This is my first item from the Arlington line and I really like the scent. The Floid Blue completes the Floid trilogy for my aftershave collection. The Floid Blue may be my favorite of the lot. It has a clean, fresh scent. Although I like the Italian and the Spanish Floid, they lean a bit more towards barbershop/powdery scents which is ok but Floid Blue fits the bill for use everyday. I tend to go old school on the weekends. Also, thanks to both Marks for the meticulous manner in which these items were packed and the prompt manner in which they were delivered. It shows you care.
Hmmmm...i haven't been posting much in this section, but i thought these were worth mentioning...their beauty is ahem...."beyond description".....
Let the (BIG) smoke begin.... (they're not meant for shaving though, let alone usable as brushes.... )

I've been wondering about the T&H hair products myself. Glad they got your seal of approval, Don!
I have used them for about 6 months now and just love them. My hair has never been healthier.

Yes, the Floid Blue is nice, isn't it. One of my favorite AS's. Very nice after a lavender or violet cream or soap.

Don - have you ever tried the Booster lanolin hair cream - if so, how does it compare to the T&H CAR?

I have both and I prefer Boosters.

Have not tried the Boosters but love the CAR it adds hold and your hair stays soft to touch

You might want to try the Booster - sounds like similar type of product and the Booster works great and is a fraction of the price of the CAR.

I just ordered another Merkur Classic, which will be a Christmas gift for my older brother who's flying in from New York. He's really been getting into this after I gave him the tub of St. James and Vulfix brush. Here's hoping he hasn't gotten a DE razor yet!
I have used them for about 6 months now and just love them. My hair has never been healthier.
Have you tried Baxter, or Sircuit Skin? Both are markedly superior... ESPECIALLY the sircuit skin.

My dear sister and her husband were out junkin' at yard sales and found me some neat stuff.
Black Handle SS Date Code M3 (with partial pack of blades)
Regular SS Date Code L3
Assorted packs of blades from Wilkinson Sword, Empire of Miami, Rotsiegel
Mens grooming travel kit with travel razor (only markings say made in Germany)
The Rotsiegel and Empire blades are interesting anyone know anything about them?
Total price for everything - $11

Pretty good deal. The Black Handle with case is a mis-matched item. The case is for a '49 Superspeed. You can probably get $11 for the case from a B&B'er who has the matching razor and net out free on the rest of the stuff. :biggrin1:
Good haul.

Unfortunately the case is in really sad shape. It has two nasty burnt spots on it and what looks like nail polish in another spot.
The 66 is looks great and I will probably start using it regularly once I clean it up. The black handle has some wear. The head works very well but the handle has wear spots exactly where your fingers would go, someone used this razor for a long time and for the most part didn't abuse it. Once it gets cleaned up I'll make it the travel razor.
