Date and time format

I've looked around, but couldn't find it anywhere. Is there any way to change the date and time format shown. The month-day-year format just looks really, really weird to me and I'd much prefer y-m-d or d-m-y.

Is there some way to change how it's displayed for me?

Select User CP from options at top of page, in Settings & Options, select Edit Options. Scroll down to the bottom and there is a section for time settings.

Thanks, but I can only change my timezone and the start of the week there, I can't change the way the date is formatted.
