I'll likely be placing an order for a Mystic Water soap. At the moment I'm trying to decide between Lily of the Valley, Coconut Lime Verbana or Unscented. I'm leaning towards the Lily of the Valley as I have a great lime cream in CF and GFT Coconut cream. Anyone tried any of these scents?
I've had coconut lime verbena sample and it's very flowery.

I have Lily of the Valley soap. It has a nice sweet floral scent that closely resembles the lily flower. The soap performs very well.

I have both. Coconut lime verbana is nt overpowering with either lime or coconut. It's a nice blend and a pleasant scent (somewhat loral). Lily of the valley smells just like a lily. Both are great. All of the scents are excellent, and the price is reasonable. The enabler in me says you should get both.

Buy some samples, then decide
I've used:
Lily of the Valley-a little too floral/perfumey for me
Lime-absolutely awesome fragrance during lathering, but doesn't hang around
Bay Rum-I'm a little conflicted because it is slightly perfumey to me, but I like it, it hangs around longer than the lime
My new boar brush smells like the Bay Rum, no pig at all!
Headed out tomorrow to Greenbelt farmers market to meet Michelle, and buy some stuff!

Ha! Well it goes without saying that I could always get two, three...or more! But I'll only be getting one...which is one more soap/cream then I need!
I think the CLV is the safer choice but I am actually leaning towards the Lily of the Valley...

I was a tester for the LotV. I didn't expect to be all that crazy about the floral scent, but it turned out to be my favorite of all the samples I bought. While it's floral, I don't find it feminine or perfumey at all. The CLV is one I have not tried, so I can't comment on that.
When it came time to buy a puck, I bought the LotV and the Prospect Creek.

I tried seven different samples of MW at first. I really did like all of them but ended up with the Wild Lavender, which by the way is my favorite scented soap ever. I thought the LotV was a little to floral as well.
So I would say Coconut Lime Verbana or try the Lavender if you haven't yet. Lavender Lime is awesome too, but I thought it smelled more lavender than lime anyway.

Dave,
Of the three you're considering, I'd eliminate the unscented off the bat (scent is a big part of the shave experience, for me). Coconut Lime Verbena does sound like an interesting concoction, but as you mentioned, you've already got a lime and a coconut (a top tier choice in each, I might add). I'd go with the Lily of the Valley. I read through several reviews by some gents whose opinions I respect, and they were uniformly impressed with it. Scent is probably the most YMMV aspect of a product, of course, so you might find it's not for you, but if so I'd bet you wouldn't have any problem trading it or unloading it on BST.
Either way, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I ordered a sample of every soap Michelle makes. When I receive it, I will have my work cut out for me.

Thanks for all of your feedback. I decided on the Lily of the Valley as it is unique compared to all of my others soaps and creams.
For me scent, while important, is secondary and I am really looking forward to seeing how the MW performs.

I have found that Lavender Lime is nice so I bought some, got a sample and was not sure about the Prospect Creek that Michelle slipped in as well but having used the sample a couple of times I have found that it is pretty good as well.

Well...I've waited patiently and have received my Mystic Water Lily of the Valley. It smells great and cannot wait to give it a try next time I shave. Either Michelle is clairvoyant or she took a look at this thread because I she also sent a generous sample of CLV. I have no doubt that this soap will perform I just hope I made the right decision in regards to scent!

You'll love them. I've tried both the Lily of the Valley and the CLV. They are both awesome.
My favorite is Lime.

Thank you Michelle!
I was able to get in a shave this evening. While I have yet to try the CLV, the Lily of the Valley was an excellent performer. It also smells great! Now do I cast off my CF Lime and get a tub of MW Lime? Yes...it's that good!

I know what ya mean. I haven't touched my CF Lavender or really any of my other soaps since I got my Mystic Water soap.

Thats exactly what I did. As far as creams go, I think CF is easily one of the best performers, but the lime smells like margarita mix. MW is a top performing soap, and is smells like actual limes. I do not regret my decision one bit.
