Hello gents,
I'm moving at the end of this month, and it is finally time to whittle down the den a bit. These are being sold to finish funding my Big Green Egg purchase I've been saving for. EggFest is next month and I need the cash.
I have three things on the chopping block.
First, is the wonderful Feather All-Stainless. This is my third time owning this razor, the first two off of B&B members. This was purchased new from royalshave and it has been used less than a dozen times. I just can't get a better shave than a blue tip with a med prep, even though I keep trying. Blades are not available, but i'll throw in some med preps and a euro palmolive stick to sweeten the deal.
Asking $153/shipped ... SOLD!
Next are two brushes, a Simpsons and a Thater
Simpsons Tulip 2 is SOLD!
Asking $125/shipped SOLD for $115.
And finally, the Thater. This is the 3 band, 4125/1. Octagonal handle, feels great in the hand. More bulb shaped.
Asking $95/shipped ... SOLD!

As am I. I'm thinking seriously about complementing my L with an XL for more square inches when entertaining. I had to grill corn on the cob, chicken, burgers, and boneless ribs in waves Memorial Day. GLWTS!

+3 on the Egg! But seriously, how much food are you talking about at one time? I had two racks of ribs and corn on my large this weekend with plenty of room left for other foods. I use an adjustable rig and a couple of extra grids to accomodate big cooks. Most of the guys I know with XL's wish they had bought a L instead. That being said, I would still like another Egg (or two): a Small and a Mini. When cooking for just the two of us, a small would be plenty big, need less lump, and fire up quicker. A Mini would be nice to take camping, tailgating, or visiting some who is eggless.
Sunday's ribs and corn (one rack already plated):

I have a Big Steel Keg. Basically a steel egg. It's wonderful. I had it before my DE razors. I must have done that out of order huh? :001_smile

Lessee...8 or 9 ears of corn, dozen or so 6oz burgers, about the same number of boneless chicken thighs, 7 or 8 boneless ribs. To save Slowhand's sales thread, I'm going to start an XL Egg thread over in the Speakeasy (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/294952-Talk-me-out-of-buying-an-XL-Big-Green-Egg-%28to-go-with-my-L%29?p=4169403#post4169403). I'd like to hear how you manage the multi grids as I've never had a lot of success there.

I priced an Egg, I know that it's great but can't see the $$$ if I'm getting a new car this fall (fingers crossed). Reckon me and the Weber will keep on trucking.
