Does these R's, Hd's and c's? Mean anything? I see that Parkers dont get alot of love on this forum but from what ive read they have greatly improved since the days of the bad ones. Anyways if anyone can rank them in order or just suggest one id appreciate it.

Welcome aboard F!

I can only speak of the EJ after starting with a tech and then a slim.

The EJ Barley is one beautiful, smooth razor and I can recommend it. It's the one I use 90% of the time.

The 38s are also popular and possibly a little more aggressive based on reports and reviews.

Go the EJ. The barley is easier to grip with wet hands but still a tad slippery. I reviewed it recently if you want to visit the Reviews area to read the write up.

Greetings and Salutations to B&B! I have a Merkur 38c which I like very much. The c is for chrome, m is matte. It designates the finish on the razor.
