I have too many of them, so this one is on the market:
Heljestrand MK31 (5/8) - handles like a sports car (especially for people who shave every day)
absolutely beautiful ivory scales in great condition.
Honed and fine-tuned to about 10/10 performance
Very nice thumb notch
Top + bottom jimps for nice control
The bad news: blade has very small traces of spotting (only on side in photo) Doesn't even show in the photo but it's there
Here's the story: bought the razor on ebay for about $50 thinking I got the deal of the century because the seller said it's clean, excellent and shave-ready. Whaddaya know, when I finally managed to take a look at it - turns out it has spots and the heel half of the edge is full of microchips
So after spending a couple of hours on it - clean spots, hone out chips, fine-tune, test, I think I will ask for $70 shipped. It's not a steal, but for such a razor in this condition - it should be very reasonable
Thanks for looking
Ivo
