VDH + KMF = Fine Superlather

I'm always looking for killer superlather combos. The best, to date, is Kiss My Face (I use mint) + RazoRock XXX (or Fresco). Its amazing.

However, tonight I put a shot of KMF Cool Mint on top of Van derHagen Luxury (scented). WOW---a very smooth, slick, abundant lather. VERY mild and refreshing. I have skin sensitive to quite a few products, but this was perfect---soothing and cooling w/o a hint of burn or tightness.

I think VDH is a plain enough scent that it would work with any KMF variety if you'd like more scent. KMF is great...by itself and is a killer super lather cream.

I especially like that I can now get both of these products locally (Sprouts and Target). :adoration:

I almost always mix in a half-squirt of KMF Cool Mint when I'm using my VDH Deluxe. I haven't broken out my VDH Luxury yet, and will probably solo it for a while when I do...but I'll keep this report in mind!

For the last three weeks that is all that I have been using. I load my brush with about 20 swirls of the VDH, a squirt of KMF, and I get an Überlather that provides plenty of cushion and slickness. Love it.

Worked out great! Very slick lather. Scent wise the KMF overpowered the VDH. I don't mind I like both scents. This combo is definately a regular in my rotation now. Thanks azrichter!

I recently discovered the KMF Key Lime. I then of course, thanks to this forum, tried it with a stripe of my Bigelow. MAN did I ever get some awesome lather! The key lime, menthol and eucalyptus made for a fantastic combination lathered up and on my face. KMF is one that will not EVER leave my lineup. I have the VDH Luxury that came with their cheap set from Walmart, I will be keeping an eye out for their Luxury line as well.

Thanks for the suggestion. KMF mint + VdH was a hit for me as well. This superlather will now be my standard VdH rotation.

I also tried The Body Shop Maca Root with VdH and that was good too. Although Maca Root + Conk's Lime is a better combo.

Will have to try KMF mint with Proraso green next.

I'm about out of kmf, so it might be time to reload w some lime. It seems to work so well with a variety of products.

Some great superlather combos for me:
Williams + KMF (any scent) -- wow, is this a slick combo!
Palmolive stick (grated) + Body Shop Maca Root -- excellent skincare
