I got on the site twice today. All of the posts that I made earlier say that I have made 40. When I just got on and made a couple of posts, it said that I had made 41 posts. I checked on a post I made earlier that said forty posts, now says 41 posts?

Must be that "new" math the kids are always talking about.

When I got on again, I checked posts from today and several days ago. They all said 42 posts. After I made a new post. My new post said 43 posts and Now all of the posts that I checked say 43 posts. Shouldn't old posts keep the old post number? Also, isn't each post counted seperate?

The section that lists a post count is your total post count.

It's just a running count of the number of posts you made. That's all.

Ok. This is kinda funny, but I can't give you a hard time because I admit I briefly wondered the same thing....

That whole header is always current. Every one of your posts will always show your current avatar, title (the thing below your user name), location, and post count. They don't stay static as they were when you first made that post.
