What is your favorite tritium watch for under $300? Options I know of include Traser, Luminox, Reactor, Tawatec, Firemark. Don't want a huge watch or too much flash.

I have a couple Ball tritium watches but they run around $2500 - $3500 and they are made in T25 & T100 tubes with the T100 tubes glowing much brighter. I purchased a Android watch with T100 tubes off shopnbc when they were are on sale for $200 with T100 tubes. Although the tubes glow brightly on this watch and will continue to do so for the next 20 - 25 years without the need for a battery or exposure to light the drawback to this watch is it's non hacking Japanese movement that doesn't move smoothly as the Swiss ETA movement that is on the ball watches.

With the C3 available nowadays, tritium IMO, is less valuable since when you first go into the dark (and your night vision is very poor) it glows about as brightly as C3 would long after your night vision would be pretty good. Or to put it another way, C3 is way brighter than tritium when you need it to be (right after being in the light), and is somewhat less bright than tritium when it doesn't matter as much (when your night vision is great).

Picked up a Deep Blue Daynight Ops. Spent a little more for the T100. This thing is a damn torch at night. A blind squirrel could read it at 40 ft.
