In case anybody's still wondering, I verified that it's both in-store and online. Looking forward to checking that EJ brush out!:badger:

Which of their brushes are a good buy?
I'm thinking of getting a new brush, as I really dislike my current brush.
Also, this is the US web site, correct? do they ship to Canada?

I got an e-mail from C&E saying 20% off online or in stores. It had a coupon to print.

It looks like the shaving stuff is already marked down by 20% and so the above coupon does not seem to work. The free shipping does work. Anyone else try this online?

I have two $40 gift cards for C&E that I've been saving for the next time they have a 20% off sale like they're having right now. And, of course my luck, the one and only local store doesn't have the best badger brush in stock. They have one on display, but they don't one in stock that they can sell.
WHY would you have brush on display if you don't have any that you can sell.
AND, since you can't use C&E gift cards online, I can't even order it online.

So what do you guys think: Is the EJ Super badger a good deal at $65?

I have the EJ Super. Got it on clearance from theenglishshavingcompany.com for around $42 or so, and I wouldn't get it again. I'm looking forward to the new B&B brush (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=29536) that's coming out this (or early next?) year. It looks promising. Maybe I'd like the Super better if I only used creams, but I even prefer my Tweezerman over my EJ Super for creams. Maybe I just can't get my water ratio right, but I can't get as good a lather, it seems.....
But others say great things about the EJ Super. It probably is great, but I just can't figure out how to work it. :crying:

Just bought a tube of Sweet Almond Cream. They had some shave soaps too, but I felt like getting the cream. I also picked up some Sandlewood ASB. Mmmm

Ordered a puck of Sweet Almond Oil Soap and a tube of the same Cream. Since the word is that one or the other is being discontinued I got one of each.

The famous C&E $35 brush is showing up at $28 during the sale! This is a fantastic buy if you don't already have one!

This stinks. I've been after one of these, and I could get two now for $56 and no shipping. But I want to hold out for the B&B Essential.
.....would be nice if I had a C&E BBB to compare it to, though....

Pick one up, if you don't like it or you get a B&B Essential brush, sell it or just make it your travel brush.

I already have 2 or 3 "travel brushes." And I never travel.
If I got one, I'd get two, just to get free shipping. Unless I should get a cream or soap from them. I meant to get samples of theirs but never did.

The soaps and creams are pretty good, and if you want to try them, now is the time to buy them while they are on sale.

Or I could go in one and ask for some samples to try them. Can you recommend a cream?

I would see if they can give you samples of all of the scents you like. My experience is that the employees are fairly generous with samples.

Maybe I'll get myself the brush and get my brother-in-law a cream for Christmas. Or two. Hope he doesn't read this; he's a member here... only one post, though.
I stopped in at my local C&E shop thinking that I would pick up either the Nomad or Sienna soap in the wood bowl. I have the Sandalwood and really like it.
The samples there were obviously old, they had dried out and shrunken from the sides of the bowls. The Sienna and nomad soaps didn't smell good at all.
Stunk.
No sale.

Also, I think no one (here) would buy my C&E BBB with the B&B Essential around the corner..... Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe I'll tell myself it can't be much better than my Tweezerman, so I won't get it. I hate decisions.

Thanks for posting this. I almost pulled the trigger on a couple of EJ Bests last week. They are Christmas presents for people I will be FORCING to give up on their Mach 85 Lubrawhackers. This saved me $14 plus shipping, so i got an heirloom quality plastic stand for my own EJ Best with the savings. Cheers OP.

I've gotten so far as putting in all my info and CC number, but I still can't decide if I should get these! I was going to get two, just to bring me a buck over the requirement for free shipping, so it would be about $30 total for each brush (after tax). One review on here says you couldn't do better for twice the price ($70). Ugh. No, I can't do it. I don't know anyone to give a brush to for Christmas, either. My family hates shaving and seems to like hating it.

The responsible angel is sitting on my shoulder and beating up the SCAD devil. Even with my modest collection, I still have more "stuff" than I can use. As much as I'd like to pick up a tube of sandalwood or Nomad, that little responsible angel keeps winning. Wouldn't mind trying the bath soaps or Lime shower gel...
Now, if they had their lime cream out, I think the devil would have won out already
I spent $120 bucks at C&E today. All on SWMBO.
I just consider it the down payment on the new brush and razor arriving this week! Heheheh.
