before and after pics can be found on the second page
she stopped at a little parking lot sale in front of an antique store and found a couple razors for me. she said the only reason she stopped was to look for me :applause: (im at work) she found this single ring which she got for 25 bucks down from the 30 that the guy was asking. she also picked up a SA for $4. she knew to get the SA cuz it was only $4 but she wasnt sure about the single ring. over the phone she just said it had teeth, so i wasnt sure what it was either and i asked her to send me pics. the pics came in over the phone and i was a very happy camper lol. she said the box is in 2 pieces and it looks a little beat up but it has both blade boxes and instructions. i cant wait to get home and see how old it is. my oldest razor is no longer my us service set :)

1. im not easily offended and can find humor in just about anything
2. if u go through life being offended by everything then your life as a whole wont be that fun. thats how i feel anyway

My wife is a great help, too. If we go to and estate sale she just grabs any fountain pens or shaving gear she sees as she's never sure of what I have or want. We sort it out later. She's got the razor spotting eye at the antique stores now as well.

yea i like to take my wife when i go hunting. i tell her shes my good luck charm cuz she finds me good stuff and often finds things that i dont notice sometimes. after a while my mind goes blurry from looking at everything. i wouldnt have a couple of the razor i own if it wasnt for her

I would really love to see some pics of the paper insert/instructions.

ok on saturday ill post pictures of the instructions. im out of town again so i dont have the razor or instructions with me. if i remember right it has the instructions in a few different languages which is pretty cool.

i remember reading a thread recently that said the purple blade boxes, felt, and case combo was a french market razor but im gonna have to look for that thread now cuz i dont quite remember. that could be why there are multiple languages. im not sure if the american sold ones also came in mulitple languages though.

edit: ok i found the thread i was looking for and im totally wrong on the french market thing. the Dg stamp was meant for the french market which i dont have and the case looks different from mine as well. i should have looked it up before posting lol. :a6:
