Well, I am not much of a 'rotator' but because I started shaving in the 70's with a Schick injector, I want one for the memories.
I started with the black handle, then got an adjustable, but I guess I'd be happy with an earlier model, too. The eBay is making me nuts, thought I'd try here first.

I believe rxonmymind has a few injectors still available just a few entries down, including some adjustables. You'd have to buy the blades from somewhere else though, don't know if that's a dealbreaker for you.

OK. This is frustrating.
I have about 8 PMs about this with "I have a Type E", or "I have a type I" or, "I have an older type"
I don't know what the types are, I don't know the history of these razors, nor do I really care, I don't want to research them or become an expert. I don't collect. I use one razor every day, but I have a birth year red tip, just because, and this falls in the same category.
I don't know if the rules say you have to reply by PM, but if not, please stop PMing me and asking me if I like this type that type, because I don't know them.
Can you guys post in this thread, or is that not kosher? I don't want to do any research, I'd like a plain, black handled razor from the early 70's or maybe an adjustable. I guess I shouldn't have said I'd take an older one because I know NOTHING about them and am not the least bit interested in learning about them.
If you have something like this

or like this

That's what I am looking for. Within reason, price doesn't matter. If it's $30 versus $25, versus $20 that means nothing to me. I just want a pleasant memory razor. And I do not want to become smart about them, I collect rifles, not razors :wink2:
My apologies to those who have PM'd me with questions about this or that type. I'm not as into they history of these things as most of you guys are. If you have something like that, please post in this thread. I'm not going to answer all the PMs, sorry, guys.

$30 adjustable like new. In cheap plastic box with at least one blade in the old dispenser. PM for more info.

As Kirill mentioned, rxonmymind still has one Schick adjustable (the second pic) for $18:

Here's a link to the ShaveWiki. Scroll down to where it says "Schick Injector" to see the different types. It'll really only take you two seconds to see what they look like.

The older injectors, like Type E's and G's, are pretty cheap and provide a great shave. You could probably buy older versions for <$10.

Ah, great! Now we are getting somewhere!
Thanks, gents! I have a bunch of PMs I will respond to later today (Saturday), I appreciate you narrowing it down to the black handle and adjustable, so I don't have to research types. I really am not a collector, I just want something I remember using in my 'yoot'. :wink2:
I appreciate the more helpful PMs and photos. I think I have enough now, will respond in a bit.
Cheers,
John

I've been thinking about getting a injector razor myself.
I wish you the best of luck.

CLOSED
Picked up a couple injectors from Celestino, thanks very much to everyone!
Blademen, I really wanted it for the nostalgia, and because I think my son will like it. He's half Asian and really doesn't have a full-face beard, just a little around the chin and upper lip and one or two slight patches on the jaw. He's using a DE now, but I think this will be perfect for him. I wanted it because I used one for a few years in high school and college. They do shave well!
This is the place to get one, if you decide to go in!
