First of all let me say that I love, love, love RR products. I have tried XXX, Classic, Boston Tea Party before and love their slickness, scents, and ease of lather. I just tried the Chianti Lavender, but am not a huge straight up floral scent kind of guy and this mix really impressed me! I can't really describe it, but the scent is amazing, not too Lavender, but it's definitely there. I let SWMBO smell it and she was very impressed and said "that is the best so far," and I have tried a lot here in my first couple months. So, if you were wondering, stop and go get some RR products. You can order now and by the time the new products come out, you will be ready to go back for more.

It's very good, but I prefer the non-tallow King Louis lavender, believe it or not.

I can almost mirror your experiences here. I typically can't stand floral scents, but there's something intoxicating and special about RR Napoleon's Violet!
SWMBO typically hates floral scents as well, but so far Napoleon's Violet and the Lily of the Valley scents are among her favorites :confused1

I haven't used any Lavender RR soaps, yet (I have XXX and Caprician Lemon). However, I have the King Louis aftershave wax, and that stuff is awesome. Smells great, works great.

Ouch, how do you compare the Chianti with the King Louis fragrance-wise? I pm'ed Joseph who said (if I understand correctly) that the Chianti was a sweet, non-herbal floral scent and that the King Louis was a less-sweet, non-herbal floral scent.

Not Ouch but I have both and I would agree with Jospeh's statement but I would add that the KL is also a more subtly fragranced product.

The KL seems the purer scent, to my nose. Performance is absolutely top notch.

I am Marco and the new to arrive La Famiglia soaps are better than anything else in the RazoRock range, i.e. the best of the best. IMHO.

Not Marco so I have not used the new line of La Famiglia soaps but I have cleaned out some space in the den for a tub or too. Waiting.

Not either of you, so I haven't used the line of soaps, either. I also don't *have* any room left in my den. But I'm buying the soaps anyhow.

I have not used the new line, I have no room in my den, but I have almost every RR product, and I will continue to obsessively acquire almost everything in the RR line.

I am not you, but am me, and am trying to think of a good response when SWMBO asks why I needed more shaving soap from RR. I assume the standard, "well inflation will make them so much more expensive in the future" will have to do.

My standard is always stimulating the economy and helping small businesses flourish.

That's a mighty bold statement since everything else is so top notch. The RR stuff really amazes me as to how easy it is to lather after trying so many different products. It's also just so high quality, I wish some of the scents stayed with me a bit more like AOS creams.

I know this sounded EXACTLY as you wanted it to sound, BUT...

That did sound how you wanted it to sound! LOL!

YES! I still know it sounded how you wanted it to sound.:a6:

I am ProphetNoir and I am very recently drunk on the RR Kool-Aid.
I have only tried the Mughetti di Bologna so far, but as great as the scent is I am positively blown away by the performance, especially at this price.
Now Marco (By the way, his lathering method made for a nice change from the way I usually do things, plus it works!) tells of a new addition, 'La Famiglia' line.
Oh Joy!

Both are excellent, but I do prefer La Famiglia.
