Let's say someone were foolish enough to buy a Red Tip that had lost almost all the red color. Let's also say that the fool wanted to re-paint the tip. How would someone non-foolishly proceed?
Thanks for listening.

I've heard "International Harvester Red" is the right color.
There are so many arguments for and against, but if it were mine, I'd do it.

Very interesting. Thanks. Hypothetically, of course.

Find it at your local Krylon dealer (...but DON'T spray the razor! Spray the paint into a small container and proceed with a brush or just dip it in. ...Hypothetically speaking,. of course!)

Trying to upload pix of finished product but having trouble.238855238856
The first shot shows the contraption I rigged to spray the razor. The second shot is the finished product, lying next to a genuine Red Tip having most of its factory paint on it. With a little concentration I guess most people will recognize the one on the right as the genuine article and my experiment on the left. Sorry it isn't a better photo, but I'm new to this.
So, I had a little time to kill. It was fun. Thanks for listening.

If you have access to red nail polish that works too. Good luck with the project.

So, I should go into a drug store and ask if they have nail polish in royal garnet or international harvester red? OK, I'll try anything once.
