Hi all

I'd like to buy this brush caus' I never try a flat top before and it looks like a good shape for the FL man I am, and only soap user.
Usually I use a thater 2 bands fan shape and a Rooney stubby heritage 1XL so I think a flat top 22X44 would be a good idea to keep the same size order ?
Let me know your feedbacks if you ever use a flat top shavemac D01 3 bands.

thanks all for opinions

Take care

Chris

Chris, I have one, a 24 mm knot with 46/47 loft. It is very soft, and honestly, this is way too big for a face lather flattop brush. I made this one just to see how it would be. My recommendation would be to choose a knot between 18 and 22 mm, with a sweet spot at 20 mm. The loft should be quite short (I think mine is a bit floppy!!). Great hair, though.

are the flattops regarded as Face Lathering exclusive brushes?

I don't know about the others but I like using mine in a bowl. As Rudy said, it's big in the face. Mine is 22/48, and if I had to make it again, it'd be 22/46 - a couple of mm shorther loft. With the current one I have, I have to be careful not to push it much.

I have a 20 mm in finest, used this morning (face lathered) with Pre de Provence, what a great lather and brush. Much taller or bigger it would be cumbersome.. For comparison--my other main brush is a Semogue 830--the Semogue sooooo floppy in comparison.
