Rooney Finest Style 1, Size 2 in black. Knot is 25mm/53mm. I’ve heard some of the Finests can be floppy or uncomfortably prickly. This one is neither. The hair feels similar to my M&F Blondes - not too soft but not too scritchy - but with significantly more density and backbone.
$265 shipped CONUS ground or $268 air. It will ship with insurance. SOLD
Morris & Forndran custom in faux wood. Knot is 22mm/49mm. I have four M&F’s and as much as I’d like to keep them all I also have picked up an expensive Manchurian habit. This brush is a little dynamo - as good a latherer as any I’ve owned. It is not a shedder. I paid $132 a month ago. $112 shipped CONUS ground or $115 air. It will ship with insurance. SOLD
Gillette Ranger Tech – 1941. I never thought I’d sell this one. Not only are they relatively rare but it was my favourite shaver for years. But I’ve gravitated towards heavier razors lately and I’m not a collector. It has some brassing on a bit of the handle. The finish otherwise is in very good/excellent condition as are the mechanics. It opens and closes smoothly and tightly.
$40 $35 shipped CONUS ground, $43 $38 air. SOLD
Gillette Slim Adjustable – 1963 - date code I3. This is as close to mint condition as I’ve seen in a Slim. I bought this collectable grade Gillette from eBay for $131.01 in May 2010. The case has a hairline crack in it but otherwise everything is virtually mint. I really don’t think this one has ever been used but I can’t substantiate this. It is mechanically perfect. I’d love to recover my cost on it but I appreciate eBay often commands a premium beyond what B&B finds acceptable.
$110$105 $100 $95 $90 shipped CONUS ground or $113 $108 $103 $98 $93 air. It will ship with insurance. This is as low as I'm going with this one.
