So, I am looking to get some game meats, and I don't hunt. Also, one of the meats I want is kangaroo, and they are extinct in NJ... That was a joke. Anyway, where do you all BUY your game meats?

I have purchased from Fossil farms before. There store is not to far from where I live. All there meat is pre cut and frozen.

I am a town over from John's, what a great place and great people! If you have ever dealt with them, you know why the are so highly rated and have won awards. I have been talking with them, and they just don't have anything in stock right now. I also, just wanted to see what options people would throw out there that I don't know about.

Fossil, i will have to check out.

I have bought kangaroo from here. Their list of exotic meats are impressive. prices aren't bad I think I paid 15/lb for kangaroo loin. Its local to me so I have no clue what shipping costs or regulations are.

here in Louisiana, many of the deer processors will have meat left over that has been cut and stored in a freezer. You might try that route. Find a processor and they may have hog, deer, or duck ready to buy.

Technically I am buying my game meat, I have to pay for the hunting license!

Come to Brooklyn and check out Los Paisanos on Smith Street. A true butcher with just about anything and everything is top shelf!

Bring a cooler and stroll Smith and Court Street's shops and eateries.
