Morning trifecta

Woke up this morning and put in a new blade. I got a sample pack in the mail yesterday so I was excited to try some out. Decided against the Feathers since it's Easter Sunday and didn't want to have half of a face. Went with an Astra. I like the blade pretty well. It was a little different than the Derby's I have been using, but not much.

Completed my morning trifecta (three pass BBS shave), drank some high end French coffee, read the paper and am ready for the day.

Who else started the day off with a trifecta?

Nice. Starting your day with a perfect shave.

I shaved today with a Speick soap stick, my Duke 3 brush and a Geneva Special A straight razor. I ended with Tabac aftershave lotion.

The 3 S's are an important part of any gentlemans routine indeed. However I am referring to a 3 pass shave (WTG, XTG, ATG) resulting in a DFS or BBS (or really however many passes it takes you).
