OK so I am getting ready for some travel. I picked myself up a nice old Gillette travel kit the green one in the picture.

Now I am stuck on which brush. Do I go with the Simpson C1 (http://www.westcoastshaving.com/Simpsons-Case-1-Best-Badger-Shaving-Brush-C1_p_545.html) or the Edwin Jagger (http://www.westcoastshaving.com/Edwin-Jagger-Best-Badger-Travel-Brush-with-Case-Black_p_872.html)?? It's like splitting hairs on this one...no pun intended :a14: My Wife and Son both like the Edwin because it's black, however I am stuck on the Simpson because well it's a Simpson. My first brush was an EJ and I loved it but once I got the Silver Tip Badger the EJ was no more. It is only travel and I was also leaning towards the AOS travel kit (http://www.amazon.com/The-Art-Shaving-Elements-Perfect/dp/B001UTT5MO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1333840497&sr=8-1) but it just seems so generic in a plastic zip lock bag. Help me out fella's!

Did somebody just say "Wee Scot"...? Nah seriously though, would you be using soap or cream on your travels?

I haven't decided I was leaning towards taking some of my AOS lavender cream, but I also saw some Col. Conk Bay Rum soap I was looking at. Sadly West Coast is out of the travel size of Castle Forbes lavender which I was wanting to try.

i would have to suggest the Simpson's, but the Wee Scot is a beauty also; small, easily packed and great latherer!

So even though I knew nothing of the Wee Scot :eek2: I know what your thinking, but I honestly didn't. I just was looking for "traveling" on WCS and the Simpson Case and EJ showed up. However after watching a short video

and reading quite the story (http://www.shoeboxshaveshop.com/simpsons-wee-scot--best-badger-shaving-brush.html) on the Wee, I am simply sold. Just popped for the Wee on WCS and the travel case. I am looking forward to many fun vacations, business trips, and rotations with this little guy!!

If you haven't completed your order, try to grab a shave stick or two as well. They are a great companion to a travelling brush and provide terrific shaving.

Yeah I purchased the Ogallala Unscented Shaving Stick since I heard the case is bar none.
