Newbie Checking In

Hello to everyone. I have basically just started traditional wetshaving and have been lurking on B&B for a couple weeks. Looks to be a cool place to hang out. I have been learning alot by reading the various posts, and now actually look forward to my shave.

I've been at it just a couple of months, but was in the same boat as you, dreading shaving, now looking forward to it. My technique gets better as time passes and it's fun trying out new stuff. What razor did you pick up?

I started with a Merkur 38c due to the length of the handle. I really like it, but not the Merkur blade that came with it. I tried Gillette 7 o'clock greens. I've just started using Feathers now. I was a little hesitant to use them, but they are great. Just have to start out slowly. Yeah my technique has improved also. Started out with a few cuts and nicks though.
