Hey

I would appreciate if you can tell me how good is the Parker 99R razor or any other alternate at same price?

Thanks in advance

Having owned both, I'd skip the Parker and go with an EJ DE89 series for a few dollars more.

The Parker 99R is both very heavy and has a wide blade gap. I find it too aggressive for me. I recommend a vintage Gillette instead.

Yes, go with EJ DE89.

Totally agree, I had the Parker 82R and did not like it very much. I have the EJ DE89L for over 3 years, and it's a solid performer.
