I will be in KC today and going to Halls, where they carry Creeds, Bond No 9, Viktor and Rolf, Tom Ford, among others.
-Re: Bond No 9. I have New Haarlem which I love and also have Bleecker St which I like. Any other ones you would recommend from this house?
-V&R: I am interested in trying Spicebomb because of the hype.
-Tom Fords are expensive but I will check out Italian Cypress again (sampled it previously but forget what it smelled like). I own TV. Any other TF's?
-I've basically sampled all the Creeds so probably will skip this house.
Something that could easily be worn in a work setting would be preferable.
THANKS

If you like aquatics some really enjoy the briney nature of Bond No 9 Wall Street. The quick sniff I got when I was at the Bond counter was all sea weed but others have said it is quite nice. Andy Warhol Montauk is pretty good too. A little sweeter but a nice warm weather scent that won't weigh you down.

Will check it out. Something wearable to work is preferred. Warner weather would be nice but I work in AC office, have AC in car, AC in home so doesn't have to be limited to citrus type light stuff. Just don't want a dark brooding frag that would be sexy time night only.

Went w Andy Warhol (not Success is a Job or Silver Factory but just his name). Smells really good!

My wife and I got back today from a stay at Nemacolin Resort in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. That had most all of the Bond No. 9 fragrances (but not New York Oud, which is the one I was hoping to try) there and we spent time smelling all of them. The three that we liked the best were Signature Perfume, Chinatown and Bleecker Street.

I have Bleecker. It is good. I really liked Chinatown a lot but thought it was too feminine. What are your thoughts?

I agree about Chinatown. I almost bought it for my wife but she already wears Illuminum's White Gardenia Petals, which was close enough that it was hard to justify having both.

I tried a Chinatown sample this morning that I had long enough I completely forgot what to expect. My impression was I should have let my wife try the sample instead. A quality floral frag with some peachy fruitiness that seems completely feminine to me.

I'm glad I didn't buy it, confirmed by what you guys wrote. I thought "damn this smells good, but not on me / a man".
