Good Morning Gentlemen,
Have any of you guys tried the Blade Buddy, or the Razor Pit, silicone sharpening pads to extend the life of your cartridge blades?. I've been using a silicone kitchen hotpad for the past few days on a worn Fusion cartridge that I had and have found that it does shave better. I think that it brought the cart back to about 90%, which is good for a cart. From what I can see of the pads they just basically act like a strop and straighten the blade edge and clean it of any soap film or other crud. Only thing is it can only do one side of the blade on the cart. Website say's that you can sharpen any type of blade on it including a DE blade. I still prefer my EJ DE86 over the cart but it's fun to see if you can actually get more life out of a cart that you have on hand already.
