I picked up two strops and a king Midas straight. Are they a decent razor? I can post pics if that would help.

King Razor Mfg.Co.
Founded in 1904, by Winfield C. King, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In 1911, the company was re-organized and moved to Indiana, Pennsylvania.
The company went out of business in 1919.
King Midas was one of their brands. Underrated razors. Quite good and made of American steel.
Pics are always welcome.

Around here, pix are always desired...it's like a need...you could post some pretty hideous facial weaponry, and drool would still emerge.
Anyway, the coolest razor in the world is not a Maestro Livi or Tim Zowada or whatever. The coolest razor in the world is the beat-up, hone-worn, ugly looking razor that came as a hand-me-down from and earlier generation in your family. Priceless!

The razor looks to be in good shape, but I am intrigued with the black strop!

Google search yields no results. It's marked "Russia Hide" on the top and "Leo Wolfe 8932 Linwood ave. Detroit, MI" on the bottom.
The razor looks to be in fine shape.

I'm going to get a nice high polish on it tonight. Tomorrow I will take it in to be properly sharpened. I can't wait to give it a go.
