Hello All
I'm coming to the end of my spring semester, and have some left over 'student funds' that I can spend at local stores, CVS being one of them. I was wondering if there were any must-try shaving items that are available there. Also if anyone has a preferred facial moisturizer that they get from CVS, I'm in the market for that as well
Thanks,
Brendan

The CVS near me carries Pinaud products & I really like the Nivea CQ10 Revitalizing Balm.

Try a pack of single edge blades. Combine this with an inexpensive single edge razor, any of the vintage Gems that can be had for less than $10, and you'll have one of the smoothest shaves ever.

Most CVS stores stock the classics as far as aftershaves, Old Spice, Skin Bracer, Aqua Velva, etc. I recommend picking up a bottle of Gillette Cool Wave aftershave splash. Nivea face lotion can be found at CVS as well, its great stuff. You may also find some VdH products or Williams soap if you are up to the task.

NIVEA aftershave balm is fantastic. The one where I stayed last month also sold Thayer's witch hazel. Old Spice is also a great cologne/aftershave, and I am a loyal Gold Bond moisturizer cultist.

Look for stuff you need that's on closeout. Everything else they have is overpriced.

I like the CVS clone of Brut aftershave.

I love stuff with menthol in it, but SWMBO hates it.

Nivea and VDH products are usually not priced too high, definitely give them a try. Some Burt's Bees and Neutrogena stuff can be had as well, worth a shot.

I decided to buy a balm and splash, Nivea Sensitive and Old Spice Classic. I apply the Nivea first, let that firm up a bit, then slap on some OS. After 5 days of this, there is a definite, noticeable difference in the feel and appearance of my face- thanks for the suggestions guys!

Neutrogena Triple Face lotion, if they carry it. Simple non-greasy and fragrance free aftershave lotion with SPF.

Nivea balm would have been my only suggestion. If you haven't tried Williams yet...never mind.

Pinaud and Nivea for sure. If CVS carries Florida Water (like some Walgreens do), keep that in mind. Glycerine, as well.
