Some of you may be familiar with my line of shaving soaps, The Shave Library. A handful of members have tried my original formula, and I've had both my veggie and tallow soaps on Etsy.com for over a year. I've decided to transition sales over to here rather than Etsy.
For sale this week are 5 tubs of First Edition Shaving Soap (tallow formula) in the Cedar & Sandalwood scent.
Ingredients: Water, Tallow, Stearic Acid, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Glycerine, Aloe Vera, Potassium Hydroxide, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance.
This is a soft Italian-style soap, and comes as a result of about six months of trial and error. I wanted to create a soap that lathered as easily as my Santa Maria Novella (aka Proraso soap), but had the shaving properties of tallow soaps like Tabac and Art of Shaving. I feel like I've created exactly that.
Soaps are $18 with shipping included. CONUS only at this point.
