Equal parts milk and unflavored gelatin. 1 teaspoon each works well. Mix them up, it should be pretty chunky/paste-like.
Microwave them 10 seconds, stir a bit.
Let cool slightly so you don't burn yourself.
Use a small brush to apply it to your nose, chin, or where you want it.
Let it set for about 10 minutes or so and peel it off.
It pulled all the little hairs off my nose and loosened blackheads pretty good. I'm going to do it again in a couple of days to see if it'll start getting them loosened up some. It also did a great job of getting all of the loose/dead skin off my nose and it felt very good.

I did a tablespoon last night and did my wife and I's noses and could have done a couple more.
Much much cheaper than the Biore strips and it works good. Smells a little bit but nothing unbearable.

Interesting, is it something that needs to be done several times, or does one time seem to do it?

Well, it's natural and cheap. Sounds worth a try, even if my nose is pretty clear, I kinda want to see what happens.

I'd heard you could make something before and never really researched it.

Couldn't find the video again until today.

Watch the video, she kind of explains it.
It didn't pull many of my blackheads out (mine aren't very bad at all). But that's probably because they're cemented in pretty good. Whenever I remember to buy some castor oil I'm going to try the oil cleansing and see if that makes them loose.

interesting... i felt that musgo real glyce soap was really effective in cleaning like this... much nicer than straight up castor oil

Duck tape with a thin layer of super glue works too....may have some side affects though...

I've been putting Thayers Witch Hazel on my nose after reading somebody comment on it here and I've noticed a much clearer nose after 3 days or so.

Pretty cool, I'll give it a shot, the milk and Gelatin that is, not the duct tape and super glue.

Well, I've been doing the oil cleansing thing (50/50 castor/olive) and I'm pretty happy so far. My face feels better for it. I haven't used an alcohol based aftershave or even witch hazel for the entire time (a week and a half or so). Seems like I'm not getting the dry skin patches I'd have pretty much daily (coupled with zits).

I've done the blackhead thing one other time but I think I messed up the milk/gelatin ratio and it was a pain to spread it on.
I'll probably do the blackhead remover once a week.
