I told you changes were coming to stink and stain.... :) I'll be selling wonderful roasted coffee beans here VERY soon. I need your help, though. One blend I will offer will be exclusive to www.stinkandstain.com. You won't be able to get it anywhere else. (I guess you all kind of knew what exclusive meant....)
Anywho....anyone who will, enter.
I will choose a winner. Some random coin flip way. The winner will get a bag of this fresh roasted exclusive goodness. It will either be named after the winner or the winner will help us decide on a name!
Carry on...

Okay, I've been drinking this coffee for almost a week now. Generally, I'm kind of a minor league coffee snob, at least to the degree of preferring single origin coffees. I was intrigued by this blend though, because Yirgacheffe is one of my favorites. I've never previously had Lintong, although I'm familiar with Sumatra in general. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with this coffee. The balance of the low acidity Sumatra with the higher acidity Yirgacheffe makes for a very smooth cup, especially at the relatively strong level I usually brew. The Lintong seems significantly sweeter than "standard" Sumatra beans, and it gives the blend a woodsy flavor, with a tiny hint of butterscotch to it. The overall flavor of the blend is exceptional, and it's roasted at just the right level to bring that out, too. Full city or maybe just a touch lighter. Perfect.
I am, I'm afraid, not the most creative of fellows. No marketing genius here, so no clever catchy name comes to mind. Feel free to put my name on it, though.:w00t: I'd be happy to be associated with this coffee. It is outstanding.

I like it. Price? What do you think? Put your coffee down and pay attention.
We're thinking about bringing another blend to the table and perhaps another roast. What are your thoughts? What would you like to see? Some have asked for a darker roast. While I'm not a fan of going much darker, if others are, we'll try it.

I like it.
I'm with you on the roasting - not a big fan of darker roasts either. I find (for me) anything much darker than full city starts to overpower the flavor of the bean.
