I picked up a puck of Floris Elite from 1stperfume a few weeks ago, on sale for $15 (w/ bowl!). Just tried it yesterday and it's great! I thought it would be good but man-o-man....

So now I'm going 'Why didn't I buy more at that price?'

My question is... does this happen regularly??? Does Floris have this kind of sale on some kind of regular basis? Or is this a 'watch for it' kind of thing!

Floris does have a couple of sales a year, but the stuff at 1stperfume was liquidation stock that was picked up when a major department store stopped carrying the line (this was told to me from someone at Floris).

Do keep an eye out for the sales that Floris runs - usually someone makes a post as soon as the sale is announced.

Thanks Chris, will do... That really was an amazing price. I think the refills were $10! Should have bought a dozen but I had so many to try..... Ah well....

I got one of each, JF and Elite. The boxes had Nieman Marcus stickers on them so that is who was liquidating their stock. I, too, should have bought more. Next I'm hoping 1stperfume finds someone liquidating their stock of soaps from AOS, L'Occitane Cade,.........

Just wanted to add, their website still shows they have it at 14.99, they also have the refills for 9.99. What does the Elite smell like? Anyone know?

Try adding them to your cart though. It shows up as 0. I'm waiting for the JF to be in stock again.

Dangit your right! That just sucks....:a6: I guess I should have tried first. Hopefully they will get more in. I would like to try some at that price.

Much fresher and lighter than the EDT, less woody too.

Hi Guys

I popped into my local gentlemans clothing store again yesterday who have as posted in soap section just started stocking GFT products (colognes, shave cream, shave soap etc) when I went in yesterday I saw that they also have started stocking Floris Colognes, After Shave, Shaving Cream and Shaving Soap as well as GFT.

I picked up Floris JF EDT and Shaving Soap, the smell is out of this world, absolutely wonderful, really fresh and long lasting!! Wanted to get the Elite as well but they had sold out of Shaving Cream and Soap in less than 48 hours!!!

I believe Floris is having a sale now (20% off), on their american site, at checkout you use PREVIEW1 as the coupon code. I believe the info is on this site, somewhere. Floris is very nice, I'm hooked since receiving their sampler.

If you are not in reach of somewhere that sells Floris, you might ask them for a sample.

I asked for a sample of their soaps and very promptly received two quarter pucks (JF and Elite) in the mail. They also sent many samples creams ASBs and EDTs. I did this because, with the exception of a few EOs, I am not very good at connecting the experience of a smell with the words used to describe them.

Good Idea! I just sent them a request so we will see what happens. With any luck in 10 days I will have a sample of their fine products. I am not very good with scents either, they either smell godd or they don't. I can sometimes pick out a certain scent but not all the time.
