Hi all

I got a free sample of Bluebeard's revenge balm when I purchased my razor, etc. Having used it for a week or so, I was ready to put it aside. I like the feeling of rubbing it in, but it leaves a really sticky residue on my face. However, I was in a department store today and saw a tester pot so thought I'd give it a go. It rubbed in as pleasantly, but with no hint of stickiness afterwards.

Now I'm wondering whether the sample pot had a problem and whether I should give it a shot. Does anyone on here use it and can you tell me whether it has a tacky finish or not?

Thanks
Stu

I've also got their small tester pot of balm & really like it. I do think it's a bit sticky feeling for a minute or two during/just after applying it, but then it does dry off to leave a nice cooling/calming feeling.
Think I'll be buying the full sized pot soon.
I've also tried the Razorock aftershave wax, but it has a fairly strong scent & I'm not sure whether it actually Irritates my neckline a bit. Shame, because I really like the other RR stuff I've tried.
did the tester-pot you ride in the dept store feel different to the pot you have at home?
BTW, what store did you find it in?
matt.

I found it in Bentalls in Kingston on Thames (I knew they were listed as a stockist) - they have a reasonable selection of shaving stuff in general but nothing like the selection you get from the Internet stores. The tester pot in the shop was a full size one and it looked very similar to the sample I have... But the finish was very different. I really want to like it - might give it a go and hope for the best.
