Apologies if this has already been posted. I was at Wegman's last night and noticed that there was a clearance price on the 7-blade dispensers for injector blades. The little sign had "Discontinued Item" written on it.

Other than Ted Pella, is there even any other source for injector blades?

Maybe Wegman's has decided to discontinue carrying them.

I hope Schick hasn't stopped production.

I know they're getting harder to find locally, but I haven't seen anything to indicate that Schick is discontinuing them completely.

I would interpret "discontinued item" to mean "item is discontinued by this chain due to low volume of sales".

Many items are clearanced out because they don't sell well in a given market, that doesn't have any correlation to the manufacturer discontinuing the item altogether.

You were lucky to have them on the shelves as long as you did..... Rite Aid and the other national chains discontinued them 2 or 3 years ago.
Anyways, injectors have a large medical/lab user base, they're not going anywhere soon.

Plenty to be found in a major retailer in my neighborhood, $5.49 a 7 pack

How are these blades? I've only used the Chinese schicks and enjoy them, but I'm developing IAD (Injector AD)

I hope so! I'm a pretty big fan of my injector, I'd be pretty bummed if they stopped production completely

If they haven't by now, probably not.

Also curious about how good these are. Also, the description says "20 Blades per Dispenser, 12 Dispensers per Carton" for $37.00. Does that mean you're getting 240 blades for $37? That's like 15c per blade!

I need to order some injector blades as well and am curious to know the answers to the above info. Can someone who knows the answers please chime in. Thanks!

As you all know blades are the most subject to YMMV, but, I can let you know what I think. The Schicks on my face are superior. The Schicks are smooth, and do a great quick shave in my Type G. The Personnas are very tuggy, and did not give me the same results. I am glad that my first injector shave was with some Schicks I found and local pharmacy, or I might have just put it away. I take my injector and Schicks with me on the road, as a backup to the DE, I makes for a quick shave in less than ideal circumstances.
