You may already be aware that I have started making Brush Handles and restoring vintage handles as a hobby and, after some suggestion, decided to start selling them as a way to continue feeding my creative bug. I have my own preferences when it comes to a knot as many of you do and I don't want to limit your choices by sticking any knot in any handle without a specific request to do so. Another advantage of doing this is that it reduces the cost to you, I sell handles, each hand made on a lathe in my home workshop, I am a craftsman and would like you to enjoy my creations.

About me:
I started creating handles because I needed to find something new to keep my mind and body occupied. A couple of years ago I suffered an injury that limited my physical ability quite a bit, I was a very active cyclist and a talented bike mechanic and things changed with my injury. I have always tried to stay positive but I got struck by inactivity and needed an outlet so I started fixing razors I could find, then restoring vintage handles, then finally moved onto Handle making. This bug has bit me quite hard and I enjoy creating new handles but I am not much of a collector. Badrunner13 is not a negative name for me, it is a way for me to be honest about my situation and luck and not to be afraid of obstacles that are put before me. This is just one hurdle there are many more.

About the handles:
Each Handle is made from a cast poly-resin blank that has been crafted by various craftsmen across the country. I take these blanks and shape and polish them on my lathe.
The plastic itself is pretty durable but can be a bit tricky to shape at times, if the blank has a void in it I usually adjust the design to suit, sometimes the blank doesn't want to do anything at all and decides to blow up. For the most part though these handles come out very nice and I am proud of them. I have sold a few in the past but I have started to amass quite a collection so I am offering these up for your consideration.

Prices are for the Handles alone, shipping is $5.00 CONUS, Will ship INTL for cost. for up to six handles. Modifications can be made to suit preferences on some handles just ask.

The Green Classic, Wasabi cane, and Small silver bulb Handle have sold.

Correction from above the Bronze flair has sold there was no copper flare made.

The Black Flare and the restores are still available.

Recently I sprained my back and it has hampered my surgical recovery not to mention my mobility, I am going to continue making new handles but I will not be able to produce them at the previous capacity. Please be on the lookout for new work in the future, I am working on some restores as well.
I will be back and Thanks Again,
Benjamin
