The perfect gift for the wetshaver on the go...... O.k. so maybe it won't be the top selling item during the holidays, but it's the practical application of the thing.

So this box has no doubt been a valuable tool for me. Living with two other roommates in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment, I don't get to have a fancy shaving cabinet for my goodies. Not to mention that because of my ever increasing collection of shave soap, razors, hones, etc. I needed something portable yet big enough to put my stuff in. So after searching high and low, I've found the perfect tool bucket to use. The only downside is the box came in only two colors blue and pink. Of course I had to get the blue one, gotta maintain my manlyness:wink:

Yup... that's about it. Just thought I would inspire some of you guys out there who are looking for something a little different in the way of shave gear. The box itself was purchased at my local hardware store (OSH) for about 14 bux. Not bad for something sturdy enough to hold a bunch of shave gear and yet small enough to fit under the sink. It even has a handy little notch near the handle to put my Sterol and Alum block. Pretty snazzy.

NOTE: The only thing I can't keep in the box is my shavebrush, and my hanging strop. The strop wouldn't fit and I'm afraid if I put my brush in the box it will destroy the bristles(?).

Not bad...you even have some more room left for creams or soaps.

Now, all you have to do is add "limited supply" to sell them quick.

Resistance is futile!

And mark them up about 1000%.

Very nice. :thumbup1:

+!

Taking.......? the pictures or the shave box?

Pictures: On my cot. It's the only clear surface in my apartment at the moment. I mention the word "clean" and my rommates scatter in all directions.:001_rolle

Shave box: I take it to whatever bathroom happens to be open. It makes it less of a hassle to take my stuff from one bathroom to another in case I need to shave and somebody is already in my bathroom. Definately wouldn't travel with it, probably won't make it 10 feet past the ticket counter before I get tackled by Airport Security...... No bueno.

Since you're keeping it in a tote, I was wondering where you were taking it. Does it sit in one spot or are you transporting it somewhere?

And your answer is

Bathroom to Bathroom.

Hey, that makes me think of those doctor's bags, the ones that are like squat suitcases. Something like this (http://images.google.com/images?q=doctor's+bag) for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about.

Something like that might be neat, although perhaps more of a thing to pick up at an antiques shop or similar, rather than buy new.

Drop the brush into a piece of PCV tubing. Or and empty TP roll.

It needs a retractable strop.
